This 2200 mile 1970 Camaro SS 350 ci that is receiving its first wash in years after sitting in storage in Pennsylvania. By disaster detail standards, this is brand new. Untouched. The owner drove it once ...then put it back in storage. The Camaro is the lowest miles Chevy of that year I have seen. I performed a "preservation detail" to keep the condition authentic to the day it was picked up from the auction. After a proper car wash and light polish, I added Blue Collar 2 paint sealant instead of a paint coating (Blue Collar 1) to allow the new owner flexibility in how they choose to protect the paint in the future. The before and after is wildly satisfying and the final result is amazing. . Thx for watching!

Mine! 1973 camaro. Same orange, but with black stripes. Mines is not quite as nice as this one. Needs interior redone. Me and puppy agree. That one is nice!! Thanks for this car Brian!

Man, that Camaro brought back some great memories! In 1970, I paid $4000 for a 70 Plymouth Cuda 340, pistol grip shifter, Lime LITE green with a black vinyl top. Today, I have seen that car sell for $50,000 to $70,000+! Great video and thanks for the memories. Oh...here's one for ya...to make the tires shine back then, we used Joy liquid soap!!😉

I bought a 1970 Camaro with a 350 and a 4-speed for $1500 back in 1992. It wasn’t numbers matching but I didn’t care about that. Loved that car. It was brown outside with tan interior.

Great start Brian, had this 70 1/2 Z/28 in HS with a BB and 4:56's, Turbo 400 worked, was a lot of fun. Scoop, the same spoiler as this one, Imron Fire Mist Red paint and drifting decades before it was a thing. Great fun. Always say Yes Sir and No Sir to the DPS and they'll cut you a lot of slack.

Too bad the original blue door vin sticker is mysteriously gone (on a 22 k mile car)The door sounded like it was dragging on the striker too (and rattley )which is weird. Not to mention all the changes to the engine /incorrect hub caps (and ralley wheels)

I always feel sad when there are so few miles on a car. The owner didn't get any use from it. I understand they could still get enjoyment with it sitting there but it certainly isn't the highest level of its function.

Love those Gen 2 Camaros, but you still can't beat the beauty of a '69 Z28. That said, how do you create a dry foam with a MJJC foamer? Is it filled only with Apex Auto Wash and no water? I'm on the lookout for a 1972 LT1 so I'm closely following your detailing techniques for single stage paint, distributors, carbs, etc. Keep these great videos coming.

This may be the coolest car you have had on a video. The sound system would have to go because the real music is from the engine. It has been so long since I worked on a carburetor or points I would have to google to learn how again. Thank you as this will be a fun series. Any idea how much horsepower the engine is making from the flywheel?

Was this a Van Nuys CA or a Norwood OH car? I grew up within 20 miles of the Norwood plant which closed in August 1987 because of the absenteeism and other UAW union problems which made GM close it

the 7th digit in the vin # is an "L"...so it was built in the Van Nuys plant. If it were an "N"...it would be a Norwood OH build.

Brian, You've been lied too or otherwise deceived. 1) Camaro SS didnt come with Z28 Stripes 2) The CAUTION FAN Fan Shroud wasnt correct in 1970 3) The Complete Exhaust System is Aftermarket, NOT OEM 4) The WHITE Colored SS Emblem on Fenders is wrong...They were BLACK from Factory 5) Trunk Spatter Paint is NOT Original 6) Wheels/Trim Tings are 1st Gen Camaro [1967] , 7) Stainless Trim around Pedals Wasnt OEM 8) Radiator Overflow Bottle wasnt avail 1970 9) Air Cleaner is Aftermarket.....Im just writing to say this is NOT a Unrestored Survivor.........It is a INCORRECTLY Restored 70 Hugger Orange SS...........

@@chucksharin588 there was no mention…. Anywhere of a barn find. And for someone that presents himself with a keen eye also missed the question mark in the title.
