i feel like Dmax and Gmax are a lot closer to the main series games in how they work, and a lot of the "difficulty" PoGo players had with it was just like, not knowing how mainline pokemon works at all. like because of this i learned that a substatial portion of PoGo players dont know that pokemon have speicise specific stats that determine which pokemon are stronger, and they just thought IV's determined everything. there's also the fact that for so long in PoGo the only thing that mattered is DPS and suddenly survivability matters, and not just matters but matters just as much if not more than DPS wich a lot of PoGo only players wernt prepared for.

Group the weaker trainers separately. Since their Pokémon are likely to faint first, they can contribute by cheering and helping fill the Dynamax meter faster. This support allows the stronger trainers to stay in the battle longer, deal more damage, and take less damage overall

it would be best to go in with multiple of 4's because everyone would be divided up into groups of 4's (so when you heal, you're only healing withing your team of 4, if you're using a shield, then you would be the target to be attack from your group of 4), so instead of 6 like Poke AK said, it would be better with 8, 12, etc

I had to drive 30 plus minutes each way yesterday. But was able to meetup with a almost 40 person group. And got the shiny on the second raid. 💪🏻. Was able to take it down with as low as 23 on the last one.

@@SomeWhereInNevada. I think the issue is also that a lot of people (including myself) play a bit more low key and therefore don't even know 8 people to raid with. And to have multiple weekends a month where you need to arrange things to be able to play, is quite intense. I do agree though that a lot of the noise is also moreso the shock people experienced since we've gotten complacent with how easy things usually are and this actually requires strategy. I like the strategy requirement and I'm happy people are figuring it out. For me it just would work better if the G-max would be included in pre-existing events as I don't want to cancel plans with friends/family/work just so I can go get G-max pokemon. Especially when I'll have to figure it out with strangers. It's more likely that'll cost a lot of time.

Unfortunately the difficulty is not the only problem. It is more about the bugs.. dodging, that works only half of the time. Also it never really told us anything so we could not prepare properly. It is completely out of touch with everything else which means non hardcore players won' t bother with upgrading. Imo i would not mind it, if i would be in different part of the world, but as someone who is from very small country i can only go to the capital city and hope for the best.

Something I tested with my friends. We tried doing it just us 4 and did the metagross max guard strategy and we took no damage. UNTIL… a message popped up where he attacks saying, “Gengar is getting desperate” once gengar is in that mode he will one shot your pokemon. Breaking all 3 shields at once. So although there isn’t necessarily a “time limit” there most definitely is if you have a smaller group that survives but does little damage.

thats why you invest in metagross instead of dmax gengar. metagross doesnt have a Gmax so it will always be one of the best, especialy with psedo legend stats and a great type combo. plus you can use these metagross in other stuff and they might not be shadow but a good IV lvl 40 metagross is still pretty strong (esp when we eventualy get the mega)

Sucks they nerfed them. Like seriously I don't even want to do them now. I didn't even think they were that hard to begin with. Day 1 we beat all 3 with only 10. Like I get it your sub level 40, rural, can't build a community, don't have stardust etc. Etc. But for some of us who have millions of dust, maxed mons, and have a community we want something challenging, something that rewards high level players.

These max raids are very resource heavy and not everybody has few hundred to a few thousand candies/dust laying around to do those g-max raids. This is more of in favor of the people who played since the beginning versus the ones who started playing after. They need to make it more fair play for everyone not exclude people 💯
