I was like many others at first, it was a no 🙅‍♀ for me b/c when I was decanting the two - 2 ml samples I picked up from Lucky Scent, the girl was radiating some odd fruit note I was NOT jiving with. Fast forward two weeks, I don't know what possessed me to pick her back up, but I did. And all day I kept getting these most GOURGEOUS whiffs of a milky, creamy, slightly spicy rose. Hey Sharida, I have all of the mentioned perfumes (with the exception of Guidance) and I couldn't agree with you more. I no longer wear BR 540 by itself anymore, because I don't like smelling like so many others. So, I started layering it with other fragrances. You should try it with Venom of Love - it's lovely.

BR 540 is truly superb imo too. I've loved it and continue to love it. I want to test Rosendo and I almost made a blind buy after listening to you. It was tempting but I held off until I get my nose on it! Everything about it sounds right up my street but that slight rubbery note gave me pause. I have a bottle of Bulgari Black from long ago and it has a slight rubbery note which can sometimes be off putting to me so I'm going to wait.

Guidance is my girl. First time wearing to work and I had 4 compliments in my first hour of work. I went out to dinner and got compliments then too (with no touch ups). Well over 12 hours. I get creamy, custard desserty goodness. Everything is so well blended. Just delicious. I love Angelique Noire - divine. I need to travel overseas to buy a bottle though sadly. I own every fragrance except Guidance. Blue Heart was my summer 2022 scent & that was the one that got me stalked at work! I'm a professional blind buyer & all of the scents I have with saffron in...I LOVE! You can't go wrong with saffron or I have never gone wrong with saffron! When people say "BR540 is overrated" I ask them "Are you ok?"! BR540 is this generation's classic as Chanel "No. 5" was previously...but SO MUCH BETTER!

I have a full bottle of Rosendo Mateu No. 2 and I like it. But I got a decant of the No. 5 and the first two times I wore it I did pick up on the rubbery note but I also picked up on some carnation. It is a very very nice fragrance. Most men won't wear it but ummmm...... it worked for me those nights I wore it. 😋

I went to selfridges to try blue heart and it wasn’t for me but patiala came home with me instead 😊. I got Angelique Noir based on your recommendation and I love it ❤ currently trying a sample of guidance. I can’t say it was love at first sniff but it’s a like so far. I’m going to try to get my hands on a sample of RM5. Very surprised to see no oud fragrances…

Sickly sweet fragrance has been in for about a decade. I’m looking forward to the 1990’s fresh scents to become back in vogue. It’s amazing how scent profiles change with the decades and each decade is either sweet, fresh, or heavy/spicy. Fresh is next and it is my favorite. The best fragrance ever made in my opinion is men’s aqua di gio.

Hi Sharida! I enjoy your love and passion for your favorites!! It’s kinda sad that influencers feel like they can’t continue to hype up Baccarat Rouge 540 because people are tired of hearing about her. If she is the goat to you, so be it! Don’t make her an honorable mention… Personally, I haven’t gotten a decant, but have tried a couple of dupes. The scent is not a love for me and I certainly don’t want my fragrance disappearing as people have commented. I want my fragrance present all day long!! I blind bought Delina Exclusif and it’s number two in my collection. I haven’t tried Delina because I’m nervous about the rhubarb note, but I love Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl created by Quentin Bisch (one of your favorite perfumers)!! Love your list Sharida and I can't agree more.❤. I do think Baby Cat and No 5 by Rosendo M smell similar. In fact they share like 5 common accords but I prefer No 5 because that sexy airy quality is everything. BR 540 will be in my collection forever and Delina is a stunner.

Yeah I agree…everyone’s nose is different and we pick up on different notes in a myriad of ways. That’s why in the end I say sample it on your own skin for the final verdict.

I don’t think they have body products for Guidance. I start with Rose Jam by Lush and layer with a vanilla body cream after shower. I am actually wearing it layered today with a touch of Delina and Silk Santal 36.
