An easy tip for beating "No Towers Allowed" is to clear "Warping Core" (3rd challenge map on Magus Quarters) on Insane. The reward is a Huntress weapon called the Crystal Tracker that has a HUGE AoE that helps on the challenge. Certainly doable with your current levels when you learn where the core can warp to and use a Huntress/Barbarian during the waves. Good luck!

just want to say that i have been loving this series and cant wait to catch up with your progress. i watched from the beginning as i am a HUGE DD1 fan. have tried the other games out, most notable being DD2 but it doesn't have as good of a feel as the original. i also feel they have made the newer games too complicated. well, sorry for yapping on i could talk about DD1 for days on end. keep up this series bro its amazing and i hope you're doing well

The gear on the computer version scales much higher than the console. Your characters can get much stronger at their current level or level 78 for transcendent, the actually levels of your heros won’t matter as much as the gear they have.

12:17 I saw that coming, and it was glorious, hahaha 12:49 this is very true. Vertern players can very easily carry new players even if they were to make new heroes. You'd have to nerf them pretty hard in order to make it an even playing field :3 (Like only allowing them to play Barb and not allow them to give strategy tips... things like that ^^

Loving this series! What helped me was learning multiple heroes’ towers. The monk or EV have non-physical towers like ensnare aura and proton beam that scale really well on harder challenges.

Wait until you have some good ranged dps pets that you can smack on some of your heros to beat no towers allowed, so you can park them on the top of the stairs on your split. That way you can focus mostly on kobolds and whatever side is weaker.

In your settings you can set FPS to 120 instead of 60. It is a lot more smooth

Ima be real I reached the late mid game before I started doing challenges so they were all incredibly trivial. I’ll redo them on another save eventually so that they’re actually difficult Banger video as always!
