Jon Rod I’ve done three challenges. Two were over 7 pounds and one 5 pound. Both the 7 pounds were not required to finish the broth. The five pound was required to finish the broth. I finished all three. All an hour time limit though. I had 32 minute, a 35 minute, and a 28 minute run with all three. I can honestly say that my hometown has a place that’s 11 bucks and it’s about a 2 and a half pound bowl. Very filling, all the fixings. Sliced beef, meatballs, brisket, and tendon. And it’s a lot better than the challenge places. I always pay with a 20 and it’s always amazing service. I go once a week and everything is perfect.

You don't have to drink the broth in most of these challenges you have to eat all the meat and noodles. Most have no issue with you removing the noodles because if you didn't they would be hot as fuck nd you wouldn't be able to eat it. Why do you think they give you a secondary bowl? Sometimes they'll make a rule where everything has to stay in the broth while you eat it but even then you don't have to drink the broth to conquer the challenge
