2:09 Hi! Thank you for these lessons, they’ve helped me a lot. I think طير السنونو is a Swallow bird, and not a seagull. I learned the word ‎طير السنونو from a song. I asked my Syrian friend, he said seagull is “Nawras”

Whoops😅, you're absolutely right! I got a bit mixed up while making the voice-over because I have a swallow bird that lives on my roof, and I hear it all the time. I guess I used "سنونو" without thinking.😁 Thanks for pointing that out! 🌹

Mahar..I know Iraqi and Shaami Arabic are intelligible but how intelligible? Do you struggle at all talking with an Iraqi? I ask because I know Iraqi better than any other dialect so far. I am figuring out if I should pursue one over the other.

The two dialects they have some difrences for a foreigner they sound different but as an Arabic speaker I can understand the Iraqi maybe I won't be familiar with some words but I will get the meaning. Once you have the basics in one of them it will be easier to get yourself familiar with the other one.
