Maybe it sounds weird, but I'm immersed in the beauty of the pine tree logo. Dartmouth is so speciallll ❤️

Yes, it is a perfectly simple representation of the Lone Pine. The logo was adopted while I was at Dart Coll sometime between 1968-72. More recently (2017-2018) Dartmouth "updated" the logo by inserting the pine into the center of a stylized D. Not all find it an improvement. I think it displays best as a white pine tree on a solid background of green. Elegance in simplicity. Figure on ground.
