Not a fan of Olive Garden but I’ve gone many times with people. I like one of their cocktails, they used to have build your own pizza which I’d get but now I stick with a shrimp dish with marina sauce, it’s OK

On top of that, if we had a random celebration such has a baby shower, or a bosses birthday, everyone always voted for Olive Garden for the luncheon 😒 I started scheduling my pto days for those occasions

I know it’s not made with top notch high quality ingredients. But if I wanted to cook I’d be doing that 😂 And no, Olive Garden is not the “best Italian” restaurant or the only restaurant I dine out. Sometimes I want to go to one of the few mom n pop Italian spots. Sometimes I want an expensive restaurant where they really craft their food with the best ingredients. Ay ima give you a dish I like to eat at Olive Garden , but it's in the make your own pasta menu. For the pasta I choose angel hair , for sauce , Five cheese marinara, and for topping I used to get meatballs but that was a no go after the fifth time , so I always choose the crispy chicken frita. 10/10 It is the best thing . P.s. sometime I save the gnocchi balls at the end so I can mix them in the pasta - It's sooo good trust me 😫😫 Quick edit , hope y'all enjoy 👍👍

As an Italian American I can say that Olive Garden is like … mid it’s ok. It’s not bad but it’s not the same as making it yourself or having the same type of meal homemade. Here is my rule for Italian food when you need to coat it in a blanket of cheese to taste better… there is something not to great about the dish. But at the end of the day it’s fast food it’s not a high class fancy restaurant. Also tip : Italian food is an ancient cuisine since the Roman Empire. So it’s more than just food to us its culture it’s how we show love through an action outside of with our bodies. The best part is … it’s cheap to feed plenty. 10 dollars of sauce 4 dollars of pasta. Some ground beef about 5 dollars. And 4 dollars of cheese grated. Then just basil , olive oil, sugar, parsley, and some oregano. Hopefully you have that already if not buy some cheap. All of that in one sitting can feed about 6-10 people. For 25 dollars rounded up. Or you can freeze the sauce and refrigerate the pasta. Then reheat on stove of in microwave just add the meat to the sauce or save it in a separate container cooked. And you have a weeks worth of dinners. Yes it’s simple but it tastes delicious and it’s how me and my single father made ends meet when there wasn’t enough food. It’s also how I still make ends meet today because times are tough.

I LOVE the mints! They are AMAZING anyone who has not tryed it I DEFINITELY recommend. But if you don't like it at least you got to experience! Also that food is absolutely beautiful! I love all the food! So glad you got to try olive garden.
