My family's traditional Christmas breakfast is a casserole we always make early morning and stick it in the oven right before we go out to do farm chores and it's a perfectly warm and comforting meal coming back inside from the cold. ~ breakfast casserole ~ 1. Base of hashbrowns or better yet roasted potatoes (made the night before) into a casserole dish. 2. Chop green onion, mushrooms, sweet pepper, grape tomatoes, turkey breakfast sausage (or any pre-cooked meat), and spread it out on top of the potatoes. 3. Mix eggs, splash milk, salt & pepper, and some paprika. 4. Pour liquid over whole casserole dish contents and sprinkle with a bunch of freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese. 5. Bake at 350f/175c for about 45-50 minutes. Let rest 10 minutes before cutting into portions. We love to top with a little sour cream for tang and salsa for spice.

In Hungary lot of people eat this poppy seed-ish dish for breakfast/brunch (mákos guba). It's made of a pastry that's closest to a small sized baguette (we call it kifli lol). You gotta cut it into ~0,5-1 cm slices and then pour warm milk on so it gets soggy and wait a bit for the pastry to suck the milk up. And for the topping: 3parts poppy seed +1part sugar=mix it a coffee grinder (idk the machine's name, the main thing it has knives haha) and then put it on top, mix it with the soggy mini-baguettes. Some people put honey on top as well or they mix everything and put it in the over for a bit but I don't think that's neccessary :) My family honestly eats often when we wanna have a quick luch but for most of the people it's a christmas meal :3 Because here we eat poppy seed-y cakes and cookies at Christmas

Different Christmas breakfasts from around the world all day, sounds like my dream ❤️ I wish we had all the Christmasy festive foods here in Canada! No restaurants or food brands do anything special here for some reason. It’s sad, really. I always see all the amazing stuff in the UK and the US and we basically have nada. I mean, we have the Starbucks drinks, but no roast Turkey chips, or festive sandwiches or special mcflurry’s at McDonalds. No festive menus or pigs in a blanket mac n cheese. I really have no clue why though. It’s an untapped market, I tell you. That burger, though 🤤🤤🤤 Are you putting up a tree? It would be really cute to see you and Grant get a tree and decorate it 🎄 Sending you so much love, as always ❤️🇨🇦😘 PS - did you end up having that crumpet off camera? 😉 Your outtakes were sooo funny this video.
