Alex Carter discovers Rilla, a young Dis Star girl trapped in the rubble during a mission. Faced with the pressure of orders forbidding intervention, Alex decides to risk his life to rescue her. Their journey is fraught with danger and challenge, but Alex is determined to pull Rilla back from the brink of death, and eventually, with the help of the Galactic Alliance's medical team, she begins to make a gradual recovery.
