Just a comment on the cricket situation. In Australia it's not uncommon for people to have a enclosed garage under the roof of their house but they don't park their car in it as it filled with stuff that doesn't fit into the main part of the house. So the car gets parked outside on the driveway. We don't get to see old mates setup but it's entirely likely he has a garage and his car is parked outside so it's entirely his own fault he now has a cricket ball sized dent in his car.

If you visit Australia and see a koala wandering around, no matter how adorable it looks do not try to pick it up. Just don't touch it. They are wild animals with massive claws and they will fuck you up hardcore if they feel threatened. You wouldn't try to pick up a wild raccoon or a badger either, and the same goes for koalas. If you want to hold a koala, go to a wildlife park where you can hold one that's used to being around humans. They are really soft and they smell nice.
