Finally A319neo review! This is probably the first video of this aircraft I came across on the net.

Thank you very much for sharing Tibet Airlines video! As a person born and raised in Zhaotong. This flight means a lot to me, it bring a good connectivity to us. Current Zhaotong Airport is quiet small, it renovated from a military airport to a civil airport. And I am looking forward to our new airport opening.

Thank you for your kind comment, and please apologize my wrong pronunciation of Zhaotong in the video. It‘s nice to have someone from this city watching my video :))

Western airlines preferred the A220 to the A319NEO. Chinese airlines chose the A319neo mainly for high altitude routes. China currently has 43 airports that are no less than 1,524 meters above sea level, the most in the world, among them, 23 airports stand at altitudes of 2,438 meters or higher, while 20 airports are between 1,524 meters and 2,438 meters above sea level.

Very interesting facts, thank you for sharing. And I‘m glad my guess in the video, why the A319neo is operated on this route, is about right :))

It looks like China Eastern give you a clean lavatory, good service, good food and a spacious seat. A lot to like about that flight. I too, enjoy peppermint coffee, the two go together surprisingly well. It's a Christmas blend here in the USA.

So jealous! Last time I went to Dali, A319 Neo hasn’t entered service yet.

At 1:37, you said that there was a big Air China sign out there, this lounge might be Air China's, (I am not sure) and the reason why you might be in this lounge with a Tibet airlines flight is probably because Air China owns part of Tibet air
@forgotmypassportАй бұрын
Thank you for pointing it out, that actually might be the reason. I had a similar situation with Shandong Airlines (video coming shortly), and I saw Air China even owns the majority of SDA.
@jodyyoung3546Ай бұрын
@@forgotmypassportAir China also own SDA😂

@jodyyoung3546 yes indeed, and you‘ll see that in my next Episode, online later today :))

Also, in China. Air China still operates 2 passenger Boeing 747-400 (B-2447/B-2472), they're used for domestic flights only. However, they have very 'flexible' shifts, and sometimes they don't work at all. It's a bit hard to experience them. Also, Air China is one of the three carriers in the world that operates Boeing 747-8 passenger plane. Currently, only 3 out of 6 747-8s are in regular commercial passenger services. The rest of 3 are mostly used as VIP jets for the big bosses in Beijing to go abroad for offical visits.

I had booked a flight on the CA B747, and I booked a flexible ticket, in case the B747 would fly at a different time (PEK-CAN). However, at the end they weren‘t flying at all that day :(( Luckily I got the B747-400 already back in 2005, SHA-PEK.

Only China operating a319 neo?

I believe so, but happy to be corrected. And I think there‘s 1 or 2 private operator.
