I went to Prambanan Temple back in 2015/2016. Back then you can enter the temple and I was very fortunate to see the massive statue inside. It was probably a once in a life time experience for me.

It's amazing how much you know about indonesian food while there are literally a lot of foods in indonesia. It shows how you spent your time to research first before making the video. Hi Mick. Indonesian government increased the price for temples and some other establishments, to weed off too many bad people. Many people vandalize the temples, desecrating it, and destroying the temple. The preferred ways are school study tour, and tour groups. That way, they hope someone would watch over you, namely the tour guides and your friends. If you pay higher price, it means that you know its value, and are willing to keep it stay in good condition.

You mention about volcano. You should climb Mt Salak. But its on the west side (Bogor & Sukabumi), near Jakarta. It has a lil bit Russia history, the Sukhoi crash in 2012, and there was joint operation (Indonesia-Russia) Indonesia with Basarnas, TNI, Police and volunteer and Russia i think with Emercom or Russian army, idk. The crash site still there with a sign "Lembah Sukhoi" (Sukhoi Valley). So i think it would be great if you climb Salak, there's a saying "if you climb Salak and make it to the top, then you could climb all of the Indonesian mountains".
