My significant other's dad is a prepper. It's very tied to his being an evangelical Christian and the rapture and what have you. But the part that blows my mind is he is a full on medical doctor. He's a pulmonologist and I just forever am like "does your bananas belief system impact your doctoring?" cos it sure did impact his parenting.

What happened was that during a live between the cousins( Ana and Karen) they were talking about being on KZbin and how some people are not what they seem and to be careful who you trust.Ana went on to use Marina as an example, because some of Marinas friends were Ana’s friends who turned out to be backstabbers to her. Karen never said a word. Ana truthfully wasn’t talking about Marina Marina had called in and as they tried to explain to Marina that she misunderstood, they kept telling Marina to watch the live so she could see for herself but, Marina refused, instead she was upset and the storm began.

After recent developments I've been going back to see more of the history on this whole drama.... I was not even making videos when this went on ...my only involvement was showing some support to my friend Marina in one comment....I didn't realize how in depth this saga went ...I have no desire to harm anyone's channel. I just wish we could see the cousins chat that showed what was actually said about my friend. It seems like they are keeping them hidden so no one can draw their own conclusions about what this was all about. When creators talk about other creators in a way that is unkind like was done on cousin chats and then remove the evidence it creates a very unfair advantage to her and makes the people who were discussed have to keep the dialog going to try to redeem themselves. She made a video that got over 13k videos where she mentions even more people and has all of these "receipts" but will not show the cousins chat. I am looking forward to when the latest video is reacted to.

I’m vaguely interested in prepping/homesteading (I’ve experienced good insecurity and I don’t want it to happen again) but the prepper to white supremacy pipeline is real. It’s hard to find prepper content that isn’t also racist, so Zach of course wouldn’t cover those people. I’ve considered making my own content for this reason. I want to grow tomatoes and everyone be safe and have rights.

It's easier to make skape goats of people who are different then it is to meaningfully tackle deep rooted issues with mental health and wealth disparity. Its a litteral witch hunt, people following a book called "visions of glory" believe they have magical powers to decide if others are good or evil. People are capable of behaviors we call "good" or "evil" but no person is all good or all bad, seeing nuance and shades of gray is really important to mental well being and the religious scrupulousity the church demands is reductive, dangerous and leading to real world harms. Creating power structures that put some people "avobe" others is grandiosity. We collectively need to stop enabling "higher vibration" assertions and people who claim to possess magical powers they do not.
