Best way to play Kenshi: Train strength: Basically, carry everything you can find and sling a dead person (or (living) ally) over your shoulder, and run around for a few days. Train speed: Run around naked, not carrying anything, or very little... a lot. Make money: _Smuggle hash like the druglord you've secretly always wanted to be._ So, basically, strength allows you to carry lots of hash without being slowed down by carrying it, and speed allows you to not get killed because you're not _SLOW._ (Or running food! :D) _HOW TO GET HASH:_ Swamps... You'll figure it out. (Or die, good luck! :D) *_WHERE TO SELL HASH FOR DANK MUNS:_* ... United Cities in the Desert. There's like, a 600% mark-up on that shit when selling it to the thieves guild trader. _"oi, the feck's a thieves guild trader"_ SHUT UP, lemme finish. The thieves guild can be found in pretty much every city, usually in the large towers with sticko's sticking out of them, and a tent roof on the top, you'll figure it out. (OR DIE, GOOD LUCK! :D) Now, to get friendly with the thieves guild (because you can only trade when friendly), pay them 10,000 C's. ... Yeah, just steal shit, rob people and mine copper to make 10k first. "But fuckboi, whay is dis profitable?" Because the average run between the swamps and the desert can turn a profit of like... 40,000 C's? (More if your strength is high enough to carry 2 wooden backpacks. (wooden backpacks are better than the normal ones for this, because they stack hash up to 9 a slot, allowing for more hashage per bag)) Seriously, you'll be up to 400 grand in no time, money won't be an issue very quickly. Just make sure you don't get chased by Beak Things. (They're like Dodo's, but they're Giraffes and they will eat you alive. Literally. You can't outrun them, if you meet them, you're dead.) PS, i'd suggest recruiting a Hive Worker Drone, because they are FAST AS FUCK. They max out at like, 29 miles per hour, and can be boosted to 50 miles per hour with prosthetics later in the game. Ideal for smuggling drugs. PPS, when running into cities with hash, *DON'T FUCKING STOP FOR THE GUARDS, THEY WILL KILL YOU ON SIGHT IF THEY FIND OUT YOU HAVE DRUGS.* Just keep running, they'll fuck off after 400 meters because they can't be bothered to deal with your retarded bullshit. You'll be fine, you'll figure it out. *(OR YOU'LL DIE, GOOD LUCK!! :D)* PPPS, Seriously, train until you can run like 25 miles per hour and can carry 40 something pounds of hash without slowing down, at least, or else you'll fucking die. GOOD LUCK! :D

More Kenshi tips: first, there are multiple ways to smuggle hash past the city gates but the two most flavorful options are to either enter the city in a big group because the guard only checks 1 person's inventory (I THINK*)... or having someone clean enter the town, and then your hash runners pass their bags up to them on the walls. second, NPCs actually aggro on your _characters_ and not your faction. Your other dudes get attacked because they joined in to help their friend. You can get up to all sorts of Ocean's 11 shit if you turn on passive mode. I like knocking out mercenary crossbowmen to steal their weapons while another character holds the loot. Stealth and Assassination are OP. Play around with them a bit to find out how broken they are and then shun it. (or restrict yourself to 1 hiver with high medic, sneak, and assassination and then have him hang out in the nearest bar to decides who lives and who dies) The Kenshi Reddit usually warns people away from mining copper because it's boring. Just wander, loot and steal, you'll have a lot more fun and probably even save time. Your first goal is 3k to hire another dude. The Nobodies start is just the Wanderer start x5. It saves a lot of time to already have 5 losers who get beat up by starving bandits. Have 1 Human act as public relations for 4 Skeletons!

wait one more Crossbows are bullshit- if you want to seriously boost up your squad's fighting power or you're having difficulty adjusting to the weird hands-off combat buy a Toothpick or 3. They're good for fighting beak things and shooting bad guys in the back. Just a head's up though, anything bigger than a Springbat is serious military hardware. Friendly fire WILL kill people and having too many crossbows means there's gonna be friendly fire. Super recommend the Crossbows Are Now Fun mod!
