Yea, he should be covering the area in front of her eye but maybe he wanted to give her space to more around and pick up other cubes as she was having to move forward wuite a lot for picking up the cubes?

She solved that cube in 3 times, not just the 2 flipped edges, she also solved some edges of that cube after solving another cube
