Het doet me altijd goed als iemand die het niet super kan, Nederlands te praten. David Leerd behoorlijk snel. Mijn man komt uit Engeland maar kan best goed Nederlands. Al is het dialect dat ik spreek wat hem lastig is (limburgs) en hij heeft liever dat we een film in het Engels kijken met Nederlandse ondertiteling. En is dan altijd onder de indruk dat ik de film toch nog kan volgen. Maar soms is een film in het Nederlands kijken ook leuk. En dan komen de vraagtekens bij mijn man tevoorschijn. Altijd grappig.

Absolutely love this! Only discovering this video! I’m Dutch too, but been living here in Ireland for some time now (emigrated here with the folks in ‘99). My boyfriend is Irish and has been learning Dutch. Occasionally we try out challenges such as this one and it’s such a laugh! Words with “ui” or “sch” in it were a bit of a challenge for him, but he got the hang of it. Please ask David to try out the word “geschreven”.
