6:13 Dinner comes in a nice take-out container, too! Not a cheap styrofoam box. Nice! ❤❤

It has been more than a few years since I've been to HKG. Looks like the eats are still good but great to know these options for not only price point but when my wife hangs out with her friends and I'm just looking for a quick comfort meal to hang out at the hotel. Thanks Megan!

Great job! Didn’t think you would find much for $10 Usd especially for breakfast, lunch, & dinner plus a snack but you did, in HK nonetheless! In addition I love you that you mention the dish in canto too so we can learn it too, thank you!

You were getting lots of looks not because you were talking to yourself, it was because you are pretty!

Hotel prices remain low for those few that do there homework and absolutely book in advance. Breakfast looked OK. Shrimp wonton soup looked so yummy. Pork delicious. ONLY reason you stayed in budget is you had absolutely nothing to wash lunch and specially dinner down. Excellent from start to finish

It is possible in nyc too esp in Cantonese/Guangdong immigrant areas that are not touristy. Food is affordable in immigrant heavy areas. Just need to speak the language.

In Hong Kong you don't tip which already saves you 15% of your money. In the US, even take out restaurants will ask for tips now.

I never tip for take out, dont give a fuck if the stupid tip menu pop up.

4:35 Hey Megan, we are planning a trip to HK. Is it customary to leave a tip at restaurants in HK, or do you just pay the exact amount?

Are different areas of Hong Kong/Kowloon more expensive than others. Also are the meals you cook and eat at home similar to what you see on the streets?

Exactly. $10.00 USD is really stretching it. Adding drinks and poof... $10 dollars all gone in a jiffy.

Forget about $10 USD back in the states…maybe NYC Chinatown. $10 usd in HKG is dirt cheap!
