Well, here is another one, this time we are making mushroom crostini with melted brie on top for my daughter's baptism! As always, life and dad's duties got in a way and it took me forever to make my mushroom mixture. Pulling an all-nighter was totally worth it though: everybody loved the end product (especially babcia!) and since food is my love language, I could have not imagined not making at least an appetizer for Izabelka's baptism!
Mushroom mixture - shopping list:
500 gr of white button mushrooms
500 gr of cremini
500 gr of oyster mushrooms
150 gr of shiitake (couldn't find them so I used shijimi)
white wine
butter and olive oil
3 heads of garlic
2 shallots
fresh thyme and parsley
salt
...and of course a couple of baguettes and brie :)
