If I had to choose a farm in which I could never leave, it would be Full Circle Farm of Florida. They grow over 95% of their own food, grow it properly and grow enough to make a living within their community. Rotationally grazed A2/A2 dairy, forested pigs, pastured chickens and all kinds of veggies.

Beautiful Homestead! I am in Wisconsin, and have worked on Dairy farms for a decade. Calves are taken from the mothers a couple hours after birth. It's neat to see an operation that leaves the calves with the mothers. Thank's for the video!
@ajb.822
@ajb.822 2 жыл бұрын
I grew up on a dairy farm in WI, and while I probably won't be back into dairy farming soon if ever, I also like to learn more natural ways to do things. Most of the time, the calf is removed as soon as you see it post-birth/it's licked off ( some don't even allow for the cow licking her own calf off, due to Johnny's disease ( " Yoh-neez " ) being able to be spread by saliva too, allegedly, and that had gotten to be a real problem within the dairy industry ( we always still let them though ). Anyways, for those who worry, the cows generally don't mind much, if at all, not having had time to bond with them. I just prefer it as #1: God made them to be together & #2: Having to feed the calf yourself can be more expensive and is way more risky with their health.

Copper can be one of those minerals to be careful with, btw tho. Sheep for one, can't have as much of it as cattle, and in people anyways, it competes with or otherwise affects your zinc levels/needs. So, just a few reasons to know more about how it may affect which animal your using it for, and esp. considering if any is in a mineral or feed you offer.

Hey Justin, I’ve had family and friends struggle with Lyme also. I watch your channel to learn how to run my small farm in the Philippines. However, I keep researching the pre-antibiotics cures for the spirochete pathogens. Malaria was affective as it caused high fevers that the spirochete could not survive. So, hyperthermia via hot tub, Red light chamber, electric blanket etc. Keep temp to 103/ 104 and keep ice pack to chill the head. Thanks for the education. God bless you all.

@@beekind4141 Arun did enjoy working for the Rhodes and all the viewers loved Arun! Arun kept the homestead running while Justin was ill, cooked for the family, did everything that he was asked to do, and always had that big smile on his face. Then he was gone, with no goodbyes, no farewell dinner party, and no explanation from Justin. Days later Justin casual said, "Arun went to India". Which was not true, he was still in NC living with friends because he had to leave the Rhodes rental house!! He had to stay with his friends for 3 weeks until they got a flight to India!!! The trip was not planned for at this time!! Justin did not invite Arun or Randolf (carpenter) to the Employee Appreciation Party! Arun had no knowledge of this party! At the party Justin said that Arun "couldn't make it" to the party! Another lie, why?? I made many comments on Justin's channel, like many others did! Justin told Arun to stop me from commenting on his channel anymore! So on Arun's channel, Arun thanked me and asked me to not comment on Justin's channel anymore. I was letting the truth be known and that didn't go over very well. I may add later...need a break!

Look at those pigs! They are ALL PLUMP, HAPPY, and FRIENDLY! They have a beautiful LARGE SPACE to explore and food, whenever they want it! They ALL have AUTOMATIC FEEDERS, whether they are a piglet or a pregnant sow! They are ALL CONTENT and have little to no desire to break out of their pens! The sows, probably, have LARGE HEALTHY LITTERS because of CONSTANT PROPER NUTRITION! Justin you have seen this proper care and the successful results, why do you not use it??

Keep in mind that currently, it's winter and Justin is keeping older pigs for breeding. They're not little and young nor a busy momma ( expending energy making milk ). So, a huge, strong and older pig is probably going to work harder at getting out, or into things, and in winter it can be impossible to get those mobile fence's posts into the ground, or in-advisable to be on the pasture for a few reasons. I think initially, he was working to show folks that it can be done, for those without much land, so raised them on bedding in that carport. While not as ideal, that's a pretty good life too, esp. with variety of garden scraps :) !
