14:03 I struggled with CC beds for a long time too. The key is that the bed frames are there they just aren't tagged under beds. Bed frames are under Comfort > Misc.

I used to have a bit of a shopping addiction but I replaced it with cc downloading binges. It feels just as satisfying. Now, instead of buying tons of shit I'll never wear/use in order to calm my deep existential dread, I download tons of random cc and spend hours trying it on my Sims and making crazy, unplayable builds. No shame. Embrace the random cc and let it surprise you and/or force you to get really creative! Edit: Most cc beds do come with separate frames- that's so that you can mix and match the frames and duvets between packs. They also (often) come with separate headboards, throw blankets and decorative pillows (again, so you can get really creative). Also, the super bold/outrageous wallpapers and paints aren't meant to cover the entire room- they're meant to be used on accent walls (you know, one or two walls or recessed/protruding sections of a wall that you want to make the focal point of a room). Also also, everything you said you wished existed in cc already does... it's usually alpha though. Lol

All of this are full maxis match, there are sets and color pallet is repetitive so you can mix and match a lot of it together. I can't live without them

let me introduce you to the concept of the accent wall. Use one of those vibrant "too much" wall colors on a single (larger) wall in a room. Then use a plain color on the rest of the walls that looks nice with the "accent wall". It makes it pop without making things way too busy

Your desire for a way to sort cc by packs... I felt that in my soul. Also, you downloaded some of the Chateau set, and it includes great bookcases. Check that you got all the parts of the set. Also, for reasons I do not understand, a few cc bed frames are in beds but most are either under 'decoration' in either 'sculptures' or 'miscellaneous'. I can't explain it.

bedframe sometimes hide in sculptures or misc category in decorations. It's simple if you have few bedframes with and without footboard (i don't know how it calls, this thing where feets are near when you sleep) thenyou can combine with beddings - if bedding have "skirting" you use bedframe without footboard, if bedding is tucked in you can use bedding wit footboard. You just need to download different options to choose. I like this because sometimes i really like bedding pattern but it comes with bedframe color that doesnt match for rest of my furniture and it that case i can fully customize what i really want - colors, style, textures, material. I must say i just cant play without cc anymore its soo good

I love my cc, the different colored shelfs are for putting things on cabinets. (For example you don't have the tool mod, and want 3 or 4 things on the cabinet.) Thier really good for putting objects in the empty shelf holes. If you get the better buy mod, it organizes your cc. Love the house. And no in America most people intend to put thier cars in the garage, however mostly becomes a clutter bomb, or extra room. However most Americans in the South, have a extra fridge or freezer in the garage. It's often used as a sweet for a grandparent. Most garages are 2 car, now days.

If no one else has said, I couldnt see, but the bedframes are usually under the decorations menu. Also, you can search by the cc creators name to find the packs that you want.

I mean we don’t really need it because it’s not hot enough most of the time. We get a few weeks every year where it is hot enough and a lot of places could benefit from having AC but it’s just not worth it for a few weeks a year. I think in the future though new builds could potentially be built with AC more often as summers are getting hotter but up until now there’s not really been a need for it.

You know, technically, you could have blinds that open and close if they are lights and not curtains, and if they have the lighting code changed to occlusion code, at least I think that's how it could work, it would have to have it's own custom script, but it could work, haven't seen working blinds myself, but someone might have made them.

For those wardrobe doors, grab the matching tall “shelf” looking things in Dressers. They snap together usually, with a bit of play somethmez) then you can put the doors on optionally

You can browse the name of the cc pack and it will show you all the items. Thats how you can filter through them. Hope that helps.

I would use those lovely LOVELY wallpapers as a feature wall and have plain wall in the rest of the room, maybe a column on each side to make it look like a mural. Now, I live in Texas and we use our garage for anything and everything, but when I was a little girl we lived in the topmost part of the northeast of the continental US and there they have so much snow and ice that its necessary to make sure there is room for the car actually inside the garage.

A lot of stuff in this video is from Harrie & Felixandre, it can be downloaded directly from their website (house of Harlix), as themed sets and for free. I love their stuff, it's really versatile and detailed, also a lot of colour/ material variations and cool clutter and never brought any lags or troubles.😊

14:58 That is why I just don’t deal with cc beds much. I have some that are ts4 versions of something from a previous game, but otherwise, they aren’t worth the bother. If there was a dedicated section just for frames and one just for mattresses (which of course would mean this was how beds worked in the game), that would be different, but usually not interesting enough for extra steps.
