The PGP Application for my Parents' PR, stuck for 28 months (since Dec 2021). The Website says the Processing time is 20 months. What do you think we should do? GC Notes submitted already and the application pending background checks for the last 9 months. Also approached via MP, more than 2 months ago, same result - no decision, pending background check.

Applied for spousal sponsorship, PR and a work permit back in August 2022. Only the latter has so far been received. The IRCC is incompetent in dealing with files in a timely manner. When our files were transferred from office #2 to office #3 there was zero communication for seven months. This is clearly unacceptable. Now apparently waiting for a security check to be done, Wonder how many months this will take.

Hi Mam , i summitted a visitor visa application from Dubai im a srilankan passport holder i didn't get any response from IRCC for over 5months, can i widhrow the application and reapply from srilanka is there any problem?? And if i need to gave biomateric reapplying time in srilanka?

Yes you can withdraw and re-apply from Sri Lanka. No need for biometrics again.

I applied for SDS study permit for my masters. Only biometrics is shown as completed. I've submitted medicals, but no update. It's been more than 4 weeks, and the processing time mentioned is 4 weeks. Should I raise a webform/caips notes? Or is this normal?
