Life can be incredibly challenging, especially from a less fortunate background. I was lucky to immigrate to a better place with my parents when I was young. However, I still have family members back home whom I deeply care for, and I often reflect on the hardships they face. It pains me to witness their daily struggles, and it makes me appreciate the life I have been given. I am grateful for the genuine and warm-hearted people I have encountered, especially when compared to those who only seek personal gain. The hardships faced in third-world countries are beyond imagination, and it's heartbreaking to see people being taken advantage of by scammers who offer false hope. Unlike those scammers, these two have a very sincere and warm heart. You can see it from their approaches

Im already a Canadian citizen, but I still enjoy these videos for my own information and to be able to support others. This is the best immigration related video I have ever seen. Most importantly, is both speakers' obvious awareness of their target audience based on clarity, amount of details, and pace of delivery and body language. Just amazing. I will be looking for Jen for a consultation on supporting a family/friend for Canadian immigration. Thank you for this.

At first I was going to go through the Express Entry path but since I want to work and live there long term it looks like I will need a job offer from an employer and go through that route. There were visitors who came to Canada in 2019. These people intentions were to work as mushroom pickers in Abbotsford, BC. They were from visa-required countries. They failed to obtain work permit the first application due to mismatch work experience. For the second application, they flagpoled at land border crossing and obtained employer specific work permits on the spot as mushroom pickers. With the work permit, then they enrolled their children in elementary school for free. In 2020, the agri-food pilot was announced. After working for 1 year as mushroom pickers and with ielt 4.0, they applied for permanent residency. These people are now reside in SưRey, BC. They got their PR for only 3 months. Please give me your opinions on this circumstance. Sincerely, thanks and please advice me what to do. How to reach you. It’s been 5 years now.

Keep up to date, folks, because Canada is tightening the screws on all levels of immigration (temporary, visa, refugee claim, etc.). Gone are the days when it was easy to enter Canada. In short, make sure you're well-informed before you come to Canada, because it could cost you a lot of time and money.

Is it still worth it immigrating to Canada, considering the increase in criminality and cost of living crisis?
@engvidAlex7 ай бұрын
It's a tough decision that everyone has to make for themselves. Because it's such a massive country, there are plenty of safe areas to live in despite the overall increase in crime stats. The cost of living is a major issue affecting many nations at the moment, and Canada isn't immune to it. Housing in particular is unaffordable or very expensive for many people, and it's something a potential immigrant has to research and think about carefully, as with any major life decision. This would be a good question to explore in a future video, as this video is strictly concerned with the application process, not with the economic and cultural conditions of Canada. I hope I've been able to answer your question satisfactorily.

Hello, thanks for this video. My husband and I are retired so we have enough money to live on. If we wanted to change our place of residence and emigrate to Canada, it would be possible or rather impossible. If it were possible, it would be simpler or more complicated than in the situations mentioned in the video. 🙋🙂
@MyImmigrationCanada7 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment! It really depends on your particular situation. If you have family in Canada already, that may be an option for you. If you are retired you may not be eligible for streams under the Express Entry programs, but I would suggest visiting the IRCC link in the description to see if you believe you meet any of the eligibility and if you have further questions please reach out!

@MyImmigrationCanada7 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment. That is always difficult to navigate. I think even Canadians who have been here their whole lives still deal with the challenge in being selected for that one job they want. I would say keep doing what you're doing! Have you had your resume reviewed? First impression counts and so it is important to do. Sometimes Canadian resume standards are different. And lastly, if it's in the budget, you can always do a course less than 6 months that allows you to add a certificate to your resume and Canadian experience, if your work permit allows it. All the best! I'm sure you'll get the right one!

Expand Your Job Search Channels, Develop New Skills. Stay Positive and Persistent. If you don’t think positively, you will face many problems, not only in finding a job but also in other aspects of your life. The universe listens to us. When you say “I can’t,” the universe holds you back because you have admitted that you are weak, and weak people don’t reach high places. Most people blame God for their difficulties, but God has nothing to do with this. When you say “I can” and keep trying, the universe will show you different ways to achieve your goal. I strongly believe in this.

If you feel like your country is poor because the indoor lights are always flickering on camera, its just cheaper to buy an iphone than to keep your android and move to an NTSC country since most androids cannot record at the PAL standard (25FPS) and you shouldn't move unless you want to be queer or an apostate from islam which in that case you should immigrate if your home country doesnt allow one of these two things, but you shouldn't do it if the only reason is because life in a PAL country sucks and you give your family and friends seizured when the answer to fix thatwithout messing in the pro modes is to get an iPhone and change the setting so that it would record at 25FPS rather than trying to install a hard to use app or keep your phone and move back and forth and get your new citizenship and renouncing your old one.

If you are the son or the daughter of Jeff Bezos is it the same way or you can get a visa more easely ? Is it the same for french people if they want to come and work in Montreal or Quebec for example ? I remember in 2008 something like that, I asked for a working holiday visa for the Canada. I am from France, it was easy to get it because the number available was high compared with the level of people asking for. Today that will be very difficult because a lot of people try to get those kind of visa. I did not take the visa in 2008, I moved in Uk and worked 4 years there. It was a really good experience and my level of english is far more better than it was at school.

French speakers will have a language advantage in Quebec, including having access to a wider variety of jobs in the province, but immigration approvals are granted at the federal, not the provincial level. Based on my understanding, there are some provincial programs which allow Quebec to select potential immigration candidates, but the approval must still come from the federal offices. Here is an example: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/quebec-skilled-workers.html
