Another excellent demonstration of Victron's reliability and practicality that is why I'm using it too ❤️

Well done Jono. Informative and entertaining for a Victron Installer (nearly 30 yrs) in the US. Wife is Austrian (Salzburg) and we've hiked in the area. Thank you for the beautiful videography and production.

I love this narrator so much,i wish i could participate in these projects realization,they are all so cool,and amazing.My system at a residential house in Romania was like 12k euros,all victron gear,except the batteries,and i couldnt be ahppier.Ofc i built it my self and little help on welding and hard job from my papa.I know alot about victron,hands down the best gear for solar ever!

I could have watched more of that. A section on the technical integration with the existing system (sma/generators into the vrm etc) would have been interesting to see.

Great video, but a bit more details would help a lot. Like why not put the whole roof full of panels, incl. north side of the house and minimize the generator runtime as much as possible? Why not removing the old SMA inverters and putting MPPT in, so save on conversion losses to charge the batteries? Why no heatpump for hot water?
@VictronEnergyBV5 ай бұрын
It's a matter of cost to not fill the roof with solar. In an ideal world all roofs could be filled. Again cost to keep previous inverters.

Is it a single cable car? With a dual car, weight going down could assist weight coming up. I saw a lot of old lead batteries that would make several great "down the mountain" loads!

Yes it’s only a single

Wondering how the diesel made it up the mountain? Cable car?

In a big tank via helicopter

@@VictronEnergyBV Oh, does that hurt. Gotta be $12 a liter by the time it gets to the generator. No wonder they added more solar panels and larger batteries.

why not use Victron charge controllers?

So you can use the grid inverter, controlled by Victron, at daytime to power the hotel. The charge controller and the Multiplus charge together if enough PV-Power is availabel. If you use only charge controller, you waste energy at the conversion and you cycle the battery. But a charge controller is needed for for Blackout-Powerup (so the battery maintain charged even when the system is off, the components need supply power)

I love your videos. I am about to replace my SMA inverters for victron and also installing eight Cegasa eBick Pro 280 batteries. I think that where I live (at the end of the world in Tierra del Fuego) is perfect for your videos. Where can I contact you?
