@@HappyLooter They're easy for us terminally online folks. How common do you really think internet error codes are, that a random person would cue in to the answer after just '401: Unauthorized'?
@zolobataricus6 ай бұрын
@@vonriel1822 The problem is that it is a five-or-nothing question. If you know your status codes you get 5 points. If you don't you get 0 points. I think the question would have been more fair if they removed the numbers and only had "Unauthorized" ... "Not found".

I liked that the Alesmen were willing to go with Chris' answer. So many teams have done themselves out of points and even the chance to win by using the silly strategy of asking for one more clue 'just to confirm' what they already believe. Taking the shot when you believe you know has a high potential for gain and only a small risk. I started from the very beginning and have been bingeing along and that has been the thing that bothered me most, with teams that enter the same four tiles repeatedly on the wall being my second complaint. Some teams have entered the exact same tiles as many as four times...
@Person012342 жыл бұрын
Except that a lot of teams have also guessed early and then been redirected by clue 3. It makes sense to grab an extra clue if you aren't sure of your connection. It can be worth a punt sometimes but it's probably much easier to lose all points and give the opposing team a point by guessing wrong than to get the extra 1 point by guessing right. I do like that the Alesmen are willing to go balls in and just go for it though.

Hindsight bias aside, the In-Laws captain threw away 3 points on two occasions that his teammate got the right answer: first on the Penny Lane question and second on the gardener answer. He did make good clutch calls and do well on Round 4.
@funkychilldude3 жыл бұрын
Well they got the lyric wrong in Penny Lane regardless. So if they buzzed in after the first clue it wouldn’t have gotten them any more clues because of the mistake anyway. And with the gardeners one, they came up with a pretty good alternative link so you can’t blame them. The idea of them being gardeners was only touched on for a brief moment.

The only time a question is answered with just the first clue is when the clue has 2 or more parts within itself. "401 + unauthorized." In another episode it was "red=680" for monopoly totals. It's just impossible without that. "Stephen" could just be anything. The format of the show is just kinda silly because of that. but over-all still entertaining.
