Atleast we got logs of that fight so i can type it out what really happened. 01:25.809 Baldsen auto attacks and boss parries 01:25.809 Boss charges 01:25.938 Nezba lands a hit on the boss, grabbing threat 01:25.952 Boss Mortal Strikes Nezba for 3341 dmg 01:25.992 Velleka's swing gets parried 01:26.045 Boss hits Nezba 2nd time for 2512, killing her. Technically, its not a bug, but rather how the game functions on the fundamental level. Its simply unfortunate timings, since all this took place in quarter of a second. If the boss wasnt parry hasted for the 2nd time, she wouldve lived, if the first parry haste didnt happen, she wouldve lived, if someone else had gotten a big hit in and overtook her aggro at that moment, she wouldve lived.

Only if more people understood that mobs and bosses don't function quite the same as the player's character. Most people see or think they see their character's [auto] attack stop when forming an action. Probably assume NPC's are the same. But then i think only Warriors, Rogues, and [enhance] Shamans, (and DK's, but unsure about Fdruids) can do several simultaneous attacks. Not to mention 2 (1h + off H) swings at the same time.

​@@joeschmoe-q1dehh, in the grand scheme of things, yeah I mean in a lot of ways. But blessing of salvation is not to be slept on with how powerful of a tool it is. That aggro reduction is amazing, meanwhile horde has windfury which is just an aggro multiplier when it procs. It's way easier to rip threat from your tank as a hordie. But I agree that largely it's pretty similar. You just have more "kill these fuckers and bring me back their skin" quests on horde as opposed to the alliances "here's a letter, take it across the continent and back, then go to two other zones delivering letters and come back to me please :)"

I know it was just a small part of the video but gdkps + all the botting and rwt made me quit during TBC and not touch WOTLK. I am one of those guildless people so I can see it being ‘just us’ who care, but it made certain content feel untouchable. I work 2nd shift and would get home at midnight EST on a pst server and miss everything. Playing a rogue didn’t help for grouping either but it felt like I couldn’t make enough gold on my own to ever compete with what the bots were bringing onto the server. And it really felt like blizzard would never change so I ignored wotlk and Cata. Definitely returning for classic though, hoping some things have changed.

I hate to rehash the GDKP argument, but in SoD before it was banned, I played 1 character in guild. And the other 3/4 went into gdkp's in phase 1. I'm fairly certain that if GDKP's were not banned in SoD, that the change to 20 man raiding in Sunken Temple would have murdered all guilds for GDKP runs. The amount of guild merges that happened from phase 2-3 is staggering. (and not all of them to great success)

I quit sod cos they banned gdkp, I had 3 toons and I used 2 of them to make gold in gdkp so my main had money, no other way to make gold as quick that a 1 hour run of ST, not spending days farming herbs cos prices are so low due to bots?

I know your goal is to not have a bunch of sweats in the raids but bro it's gonna be impossible for that not to be the case. Everyone that isn't a sweat is gonna die a lot. No petri means there's gonna be a A LOT more deaths but not only that. Not having petri will keep players out of dungeons and farming there pre-bis. The sweats will probably be ok with petri for the most part but anyone that isn't a sweat, even good players, will show up to raid in at least some greens because they'll either die in dungeons or choose not to do them just to make the raid at the very least. I truly think the 1st raid will have almost all sweats unless people form like 3-5 player parties like all the time to level.
