As a 4c member, the white residue is usually do to our low porosity, so maybe a drier afterwards may help. If there’s still some left, it’s just too much product.

I just leave it to dry in my bonnet over night, and even then it will take a few more hours to finish dying and for the product to absorb. Love the content btw! 😊

Hair “type” pattern isn’t the real issue u have low porosity hair trying rinsing (once a week) or washing hair at least every 1-2 weeks. Miele pomegranate line is a good. It’s good to use a blow dryer or hooded dryer until hair is 80% dry or fully dried. Use light oils like shea NUT oil. unless doing hibernating styles. Try to use moisturizing products and less protein conditioners and leave ins until the end of the month (deep conditioners) until you have at least learned how to add protein in your regimen.
@Lisamarieliza3 жыл бұрын
Btw my hair stylist gave me this regimen but every wash (shampoo) visit we run the water on my for at least 8 mins then gently shampoo scalp then condition then for 3 mins we rinse out product and my 4b/4c coils clumps together with light raking under the water Then she adds leave in, gel, and a little oil at the end . And hair products she uses are from avlon and Kera care

I think this came out really good with the creme and the gel. As someone who has hair similar to him, I can say he may have low porosity hair so the products may not have fully penetrated the hair shaft. This doesn't mean he can't use these products at all but he may just need to use less and work it in more. Another tip is after styling to pat off some of the excess product with a microfiber towel. Also drying the hair with a hooded or blow dryer can help. I think going over it with a little oil after can help too.

This video is so important because many of these products advertise "for all natural hair types" or "type 4" but never actually show the product on "all hair types". I like the result because I know what my 4c hair is supposed to behave like after years of disappointment (loll) but also really good results. But reality is a lot of people don't know what type 4 hair (especially 4c) hair looks like because we never see it. Try the cream first then the oil the the gel for hold next time. The lanolin may have been prevent the hair from observing the cream. Lanolin oil uses Many products that contain lanolin oil also contain humectant ingredients like aloe, honey, or glycerin. Humectant ingredients actually pull moisture in from the air. Lanolin itself is not a humectant. It can trap water once skin and hair is moist, however. Lanolin is classified as an emollient and an occlusive moisturizer, which means it has the ability to slow water loss from the skin.

Silent viewer here...Girl yes after 5 hours their will be white residue.. Especially with low porosity 4c hair. It takes awhile for products or moisture to absorb in our hair. My hair takes 2 1/2 or 3 days to dry and in some areas on day 2 I'll still have a white residue but by day 3 I'm all clear. Sometimes on day 2 I'll spray a lil extra water n the areas that need it n rub the products in some more just in case.... You did great and used the right amount of products. I suggest use more water next time just to be safe n clear of white residue.. 💙💙

2 1/2 days, my bf does not have the patience for that lol but good to know, also im getting a lot of mixed reviews, some people are saying i used too much water, too much product. so idk. but i do know everyones hair is different still.
@briannaroberson20243 жыл бұрын
@@OnlyOneJess Our hair type takes a lot of product trust me.. N yes I don't have patience myself but the only time I put heat to my hair is when I'm blowing it out for trims.. For a faster drying process I go sit outside for about 45 mins to an hour..

Seems like his hair has very low porosity ? May have helped to use warm water or steam his hair after to help the products to be absorbed?? Btw ya man ccuuuttteeee😍😉

Beautiful couple 💕 My man also has 4c hair like our 2nd son but his hair is no where as near as your boyfriend's hair length. My man usually cuts it but since this pandemic, he's been trying to grow it out. I'm taking notes to see how I can take care of his hair. Thank you for the informative video 🙌🏼

The fact that our hair is styled the same way is crazy right now! 💕 I did want to ask tho...would you ever try the hair color wax on your hair? I currently have it in mine now and I like it, but I wanted to know if you'd ever do it.
