Having a Relationship with God is the best relationship ever. It will open so many opportunities in all areas of your life....God removed a lot of so called friends and people who was not supposed to be in my circle...I've been off Facebook for almost 2 years...Life has been great once I got my relationship with God back on track and left Facebook....I love being super private and low key....I am addicted to KZbin though....you guys give me life....Y'all my family..

I absolutely just went through this, because relaxed hair is quicker to do and it’s lower maintenance. Plus when you straighten natural hair, it doesn’t stay that way for long (I live in Florida, so humidity is an issue). And shrinkage sucks! but I’m personally going to stick it out with this natural hair journey.

@christine1962ful7 жыл бұрын
Hi Jess. Just a little clarification on what you were using on your hair. Did you use the Tahilah Waajid product as a leave-in as you said your hair was freshly wash when you took off the tshirt from your hair. Then used the Camille Rose as the sealant and curl definer? Hope I'm making sense. Oh, and what is your reasoning for not doing your wash and go on soaking wet hair as many other naturals do? As for your spiritual relationship, I am glad to hear it as the climate in the world today tends to exclude Him! He's a keeper!
@comelitelesch91406 жыл бұрын
I know I'm late to your channel but yes I've been to those thoughts of shld I go back relaxing but once I reflect on the damage relaxer did to my hair that's where I get myself together and appreciate my natural hair. It is much healthier and resistant than relaxed hair. Relaxed hair has its benefits however that's a life time commitment. Once you figure out which products work for your hair you good.

Hey girl, love the inspirational conversation. You should do this more often. Love the style as well. It’s really cute, I’m gonna try this style. I’m with you sis, I get the same feeling but I just blow-dry my hair to get it trimmed. I think your hair is the same texture as my hair and I think you’ll like the blow-dry and you will get little to no heat damage from blow-dry. Beside, I’m contemplating on blow drying my hair for my birthday in January.

I love what you said about spending time with God and reevaluating some things I think we all need to do that from time to time. I love your natural hair and would be sad to see you relax it. I've been natural for as long as you actually did my big chop in May of 2016 as well. I haven't had the urge to relax I love my curls I could never use the harsh chemicals in relaxers to straighten it again, but I do get the urge to just have straight hair again because of the ease of it even though I haven't gotten up the nerve to straighten it yet lol. At first i was like hmmm that’s a lot of time throughout the day dedicating to a man that isn’t both your husband and father of your kids 🤔😂. I’m loving this tutorial though! Ive tried Taliah Waajid on a twist out but not a wash n go! it works well for that! Also, I’ve been wanting to try color but I’ve been too afraid of damage as well! I saw some naturalistas on KZbin try L’Oréal liquid chalk for temporary color!! it turned out well for them. Have you heard of that?
@OnlyOneJess7 жыл бұрын
hahaha nope its just JESUS lol and yes! i've seen that before, i just know for a fact if i put the chalk in my hair and i like the color im going to want to color my hair even more lol

Yes ive been wanting to relax mine I straightened it recently, and it's been tripping....can you help?
@OnlyOneJess7 жыл бұрын
omg, thats my biggest fear. I've never straightened my hair so im not sure what products will help. maybe a clay hair mask treatment. it gets the curls poppin.
@reeree2857 жыл бұрын
I’m going through that right now. I probably would relax my hair if it was not already so thin.
@OnlyOneJess7 жыл бұрын
have you tried Jamaican black castor oil? its great for thickening up your new growth.
@reeree2857 жыл бұрын
OnlyOneJess yes. I’ve made it part of my loc regimen plus adding a little to my scalp a few times a week. Been doing this for about two weeks. Trying to be consistent. Thanks for the response.

Yeah girl I just went through this phase and I actually ended up coloring my hair but I lightened my hair and then put a semi permanent in it semi permanent having no chemicals alcohol on ammonia so it’s not gonna do anything bad to your hair try that and see if that works
@OnlyOneJess7 жыл бұрын
so your hair is still doing good? no damage or nothing??
@nyasiasales60667 жыл бұрын
No damage but the color faded after a few weeks because it was a semi permanent not a permanent color now I have in some box braids but now I kind of miss my hair but I’m glad I have a break plus I really need my ends trimmed
