It’s year 2023 and just this past weekend I picked one up at a toy show in Chicago. The box reads 2007, but yes happy to get it. I’ve also the other strange “green” star-fighter that comes with an Anakin figure. Bloke vendor was selling it for 50 quid and Obi’s(maroon) was also 50, and so both home they went. The green Anakin star-fighter was also bought with an oddly blue Obi-wan star fighter plus included figure. I tried watching your mate’s channel, Stu over at Universal Toy Collector, but couldn’t pull the trigger. Anyhow everyone’s content stylin’ is different, and that’s why there is only…ONE! Only One Kenobi…out. 😁😁😁🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

That is an awesome vehicle, i have both this and Obi's, never opened them just didn't have the room when i was still living with my mom. I have my own home now...have had for three years, when i find them on my mom's attic they are coming out of the box!

I've been meaning to do something to the droid sockets in mine. Hate how there is a bunch of that kibble sticking out of the sides to help that plug stay in place but just gets in the way of a loose droid being able to get their feet in. Should jsut take some filing down mostly on the far sides to let them slide in flat.

Interesting and quite comforting to hear that I am not the Only One who gets nervous when applying stickers to vehicles Nick - I thought that was just me!! Sometimes it can get quite hairy putting them on knowing that a mistake could ruin the vehicle and those gits are a nightmare to peal back off again without tearing them!! 😬 It is definitely a relief on many of the modern Vintage Collection vehicles that the decals come already applied!

The astromech droids from the five points of articulation (Saga/Legends/Legacy/Mission?) line from a few years ago fit snuggly all the way inside the Jedi Starfighter droid socket. Worked on mine.

i love the vehicles in alot of toylines , and 3.75 Star Wars is no exeption. Vehicles and playsets do bring a great dynamic to every collection , in my opinion. Great to see you going rather deep into the vehicles / bigger items as well ! They make your collection look so much more varied and help with a world building type of display !

Im getting this once tomorrow. Also a blue one,exactly the same as this but vlue. Can't remember whos ship it is. £10 each,really happy with that price. I've got no vehicles in my collection 2.0 lol. I didn't get that one Anakin Jedi Star Fighter vehicle (too much a Darth Vader one I did buy like you show you have) but I did buy Saesse Tinn's and Darth Maul's Star Fighter ones in case I didn't buy Obi Wans that I may have bought in vehicle storage boxes. I regret not adding this one also. There were many 2005-6 Dark Anakin figures for great Haydn Christenson "I hate you!!" 😠

Great review Nick ......the yellow star fighter is the best looking one in my opinion....it looks great alongside the obi-wan star fighter.....I reckon the force link R2-D2 would fit nicely in the slot with about a third of the body and legs cut off......bung one in a vice and get your hacksaw out 🤷🏼‍♂️.....😉

If you want ultimate Anakin ROTS hack, you have to be using the head from the recent celebrate the saga 5 pack. It is absolutely spot on and way better than the VC ones. Just needs dremeling for a ball joint. The Mace Windu in the set is also dead on

@@OnlyOneKenobi I do but never got it and out of my price range now. The Celebrate the saga pack is not great but 2 great heads (if you dremel) and the Ahsoka droid made it worthwhile. The realistic faces never look that great in close up photos but fantastic in person. Obi Wan still still godawful and no great 3.75 head choices for him

In the Making of book or in the DVD extras they confirmed R2 wasn't able to fit into the fighter as he was shown in the film. If they'd used the correctly sized R2 his feet would have been sticking out of the bottom of the ship.

Really nice! I think those would make good Repacks. You might want to try saga collection or legacy build a droid Versions of r2. They might work as they were a little more petite.

Only one, I use a 5 poa mission series ani in my star fighter. Only cuz the plastic bits tend to reform from being bent in the sitting position. Love the review mate 🍻

Yo Justin! Yep I've actually got one of them... but I use him underneath the hard goods hooded robe that came with the 2005 burnt Anakin set. I may well check out that MS figure inside... thanks for the tip! 👌🏼😉

@@OnlyOneKenobi no problem mate i just mentioned i know my very first ep3 ani had the rubber skirt i had the sneek preview star fighter. I stotred him in it and when i pulled him out i couldnt get his legs to not be sitting 😂. For the rubber was like staying forward. I love your collection id hate to see that for you it took a long time before it dropped back to normal. So i use 5 poa in most my vehicles unless they have toltal soft goods like ep2 mace i use him in his starfighter

Great Review. I like the design of these starfighters. Ahsoka had her own one in the Clone Wars which looked good. It would have been nice if Hasbro had made it (as well as the triangular Ahsoka Jedi starfighter they did make).
