Yellow variegation is not my favorite and I am on the hunt for a pink birkin but when you showed that philodendron birkin with the yellow variegation my mouth dropped and I replayed it three times. I really want that plant it's gorgeous. I'm really excited to see what the birkin brings in the next few years that was such an unstable plant we're going to have a lot of amazing mutations. Then you kept showing burkins and I just want to go to Thailand with my import permit and bring them all back with me.

This was super fun 🥹 Can’t wait for the non-aroid ones ! Idk what we’ll see but I’m already head over heels for that Kaempferia udonensis in Part 1 ; I don’t think I’m ready cuz I saw some amazing, amazing ferns at Irene’s leafing around ? If only the audio wasn’t as wonky though :’) But that being said still super duper fun to watch ugh Idk how many things I’m adding to my wishlist when I saw the non-aroid plants These videos made me purchased a bornean fern; because I can’t contain my own excitement 🤣🤣🤣

Ive started to see some variegated calatheas, its rare though. In this weeks upcoming episode we do see a variegated kaemperia, a distant relative of the calathea

I’m a plant lover but the more I get into the rabbit hole I’ve realised the amount of resources it takes to take care of them so u can appreciate what it took for this growers to get their product to that standard and than on top of that all been at the same place for people like us who love them and encourage this behaviour because we r the consumer and realised the crazy money that is involved whilst our real plants and trees from around the world are disappearing at a alarming rate perhaps if we show the same appreciation to our environment as we do here and image the money been exchange what could b achieved

I see no correlation between hybridization and business ethics… perhaps maybe more so with environmental ethics. Hybrids are an excellent idea to explore new ideas, express creativity, and in the case of food produce - to create stronger, more beneficial food source for generations to come. I dont know if I answered your question though 😅
