It doesn't support AirPlay, so no, but a number of video apps (KZbin, Netflix) offer Chromecast on the actual video player, so yes.

At 3:56 yours shows Prime Video. I don't have it on my box, and it says it's not compatible. Have you ran into that issue since?

I loaded Prime on my device, it works fine.

I already have the Chromecast doggle plugged into my TV via HDM1. Does this take it's place or work in tandum with it?

I haven't had my hands on a Chromecast dongle in quite a while. Do they run full AndroidTV nowadays? If so, you might not gain much by upgrading.

I bought one of these boxes about 3 weeks ago. It works fine, except that it freezes-up about once every day. I have to unplug the power supply and then plug it back in to reboot it. After rebooting, it works fine for another day.

Dave, you said we can use onn 4k device with regular TV, how about onn hd stick? Does it also work with regular TV ?

Yes. Both will work on any TV that has an HDMI input plug; the 4K unit will give you a better picture if you have a 4K system, but if you just have a "regular" HD TV, then you might as well save a few dollars and get the non-4K unit.

If everything else supports 4K (including your cables and the original image), the 4K will definitely look better.

@@AskDaveTaylor Thanks! I set up the Stick for my TV but I think I'll return it for the 4K. Do I need to be concerned about any personal info being left on the Stick? If so, how can I remove it?

Just go into settings and make sure you've logged out of any and all accounts and services you've set up. If there's a "reset" option, that might be the easy way to do so.

4K box was great.....until the remote starting losing paired status....which it now does EVERY time I use it, and repairing is mostly unsuccessful.

That's a drag. Did you try new batteries on the remote?

@@AskDaveTaylor Yes, that was the 1st thing I tried. Same results. I decided to pick up the 2K stick and use it's identical remote with the 4K Box. Still the same results. The issue is clearly with the 4K Box itself. The 2K stick is working just fine with it's remote, so far. By the way, I definitely have the latest firmware update for the 4K Box. This issue aside, for $15/20, these are definitely the best streaming device values out there, especially considering the stock Android TV experience.

I have Chromecast with Google TV and I prefer it over the corny Onn device and plus I rather have something that is a officially Google and I love Chromecast with Google TV UI (Interface) just better.

Glad you like your device, but from what I have read, the Chromecast units are heading towards AndroidTV so you might end up with the same UI anyway. :-)

@@AskDaveTaylor I didn't hear nothing about that what I have heard Android TV are getting features that I already have on my Chromecast with Google TV. And I just enjoy the For You section on Chromecast with Google TV and Android TV don't have a For You section

Yeah, I have a LOT of Google gear, including almost the entire Pixel lineup, but no actual Chromecast TV unit. I do have one of the earlier audio-only devices, though. :-)
