When I was a kid, we had to watch a video called Red Asphalt in drivers education class. It was very graphic and made me open my eyes to how dangerous driving can be even if you're careful and it's caused by someone else. Condolences to this man's family. This world has become way too soft and sensitive. Media doesn’t want to show stuff like this anymore.. but they did back in the 50s/60s. This is reality and should be displayed. This can happen to anyone of us at any time! Drinking & driving or excessive speeding just happens to severely speed up those odds.

I suspected as much as you can see the impact point on the pole at 3:49. The SUV must've been carry significant speed crashing down the freeway for the entire vehicle (frame included) to get bent that way.

This is a sad reality of life while I know why some others in the comments felt it was too much, I personally feel it may be necessary at times considering so many car accidents that happen every single day. A lotmof accidents seem to be because of distracted driving or speed.

THIS.. this is one of the reasons CA wants to limit cars speed.. While it may not fix some accidents, it will fix the ones where drivers are going way over the speed limit and it may be "their right) to do it.. even though it isn't a "right".. But when first responders have to go to a scene such as this.. it has a real effect on them.. so your decisions affect others lives.. My heart goes out to all the first responders... My condolences to the man who was killed .. his friends and his family..

Hope the pole is ok, looks like it's carrying lines either power or communication. Looks like speed was an issue when you see where the car came from.

@andy70d35…you think you’re funny, at the expense of a deceased person, because of a horrible car accident??? I hope to God you NEVER experience the horrific sorrow and emotional pain the decedent’s family has to endure.

@@m.w.3256speaking of expense, that power line and pole will be costly to replace or fix bc of someone choosing to drive without care. This driver knew the risks. It is not speaking ill of the deceased to state a fact, and it is better to speak well of someone while they are still alive.

You or I have no idea what happened here. You can be driving along and lose control avoiding someone else's stupidity so we cannot assume with certainty that it was the result of recklessness on the part of the man who passed away.

I'm so sorry for his family I was wondering if the road was wet cause he could of hydroplaned I had a sister and law who done that. I don't drive cause really never learned how but now I can't do to medical problems with medication that would not allow me to. But even when I'm in another person's vehicle I get scared and most times I'm asking god to get us there and home. I like going away but I'm happy to be back. My thoughts and prayers are with this person family I know I don't know them but I was taught to pray for everyone and not judge.😞😢🤗💞😇🙏🙏🙏

Well I read comments first prayers to the family but I have to agree with others. These videos ate to teach us and our children the real deal out here and what LEO and 1st Responders go through. The responders where doing there job to try to save a man. The were not worried about offending anyone. These heroes are eyes and hands to what we can not imagine. The images they see and try to save. Plus it doesn't look like they could cover the young man and still try to remove him. Maybe the family wanted other young adults to see this to show them there are consciousness to every action. Bad or good. These kids think they have super powers. Fast cars, racing acting a fool. They don't need to see pics of mangled cats they need reality. Should have to work with 1st responders might teach them.
