I worked with a Vietnam Vet over 30 years ago. He had been fired from previous jobs numerous times. Sadly we had to let him go because he hit two city workers on a ladder with his car while making a delivery and wrecked his car. I was asked to drive him to the train station and he said 'I don't know why I do things at times." He was a nice person to deal with, but he had demons that he couldn't control. Hope he got the help he needed.

So many people suffer from mental illness and can't afford the medication they need. Most are abandoned by family because they can't "deal" with it. Ending up homeless. Idk...just hate to see situations as this. The police handled it well, regardless.

Then the person goes to the streets and it gets even worse. It's hard for these people and their families. Like when does it stop? We need to find a way to do better. I don't know how.
