This man was a probation officer that was returning home from a swing shift. Based on his friends and families posts on another video, he was a good man that fell asleep at the wheel. Even with the Covid shut down, this man still had to do his part to serve the community and support his family. A life taken to soon, rest in peace Sir.

There is another video of this accident which is very, graphic. LOUDLAB NEWS: Construction zone fatal accident 11/26/20. It just broke my heart to see the massive head injury of the 44 year old driver, Mr. Eric Armstead. As I read the news accounts of the accident, I found it very disconcerting to see these reports were being commented on by a law firm that was soliciting business off of this poor gentleman’s death. This law firm seems to specializes in these types of accidents. Even though they were giving their condolences, RIP, etc., they went on to say how many millions they have gotten for their clients and please call us if you find yourself in this situation (I am paraphrasing, now). I am still trying to wrap my head around that, especially since this happened to Mr. Armstead just two days ago.

So, I saw loudlabs view from the other side. This far left lane was obviously closed for traffic. It appears the deceased missed the cones they start putting for such closures assuming cones etc were properly planned mile away. Once he was going in this lane he was going full speed but too late before he realized there was a construction bulldozer. What I could tell from that side angle, even if he entered the closed lane, his view was wide and clear and he should have seen the bulldozer way way in advance and could have easily slowed ahead of time as we all normally do. Plus the lane he was in was met with concrete barriers on his right and very narrow. So, I dont know why he was speeding. There appeared to be not a winding lane nor blind spots as I could guess. So, he first entered the lane missing the cone direction, then he.ignored the narrow lane flanked by concrete but speeding, and then he did not see the monster vehicle in his wide view that was clear, and crashed with pretty good speed as I could guess. So the man missed multiple warning. I dont what was wrong with him but he paid a heavy price. He seemed like a heavy set guy, with a lot of blood or peeled skin on his face right, and a lot of blood and open flesh on right love handle .
