ONSRA VELAR - Do Not Buy Before Watching!

Road riding the ONSRA VELAR near Truckee California I've learned one thing about this board! As fantastic as it is do not purchase the belt drive version. However I do highly recommend the Direct Drive version as the powertrain, battery and deck are INCREDIBLE!

strange about the braking. I so far done 500 miles and brakes at only 40% and not ones have they slipped when braking hard. My belts are always set to as loose as possible without skipping.

O man, maybe I didn't get the right belts. They aren't ONSRA branded ones so perhaps I will have to buy there's and see how it goes.

Weird braking issue, how many miles u got on board? You said belts were tight, looks like either worn belts, or worn pulleys. I seen a few velars today at esk8con. Beautiful. Fab was here too

Probably 300 miles. New belts on it though. I think it's the combination of going 28 ish mph and down a 8-10% grade. The descents in Tahoe are crazy so I think it's just hard for the belts to have enough bite unless they are ridiculously tight.
