Love the scenery and camera work. Gotta agree on the gear note - if we are lucky we get to learn the easy way with just some minor bumps and scrapes. The longer I've ridden, the more gear I have added. Looking forward to seeing you in Vegas dude!

Thank you sir, I have gotten some POC elbow and knee pads which are sweet. Low key under clothes, maybe not sliding protection as much but I seem to have impact more crashes so they should be great for that. I should do a review perhaps... 🤔

Youre the voice of reason. I think a lot of people that don't wear pads haven't gone down very hard yet. Mine was at about 23 mph with no pads just helmet and I limped home. If i dont wanna wear my full pads i limit myself to 20 mph. If I'm out pushing 30 on my lacroix or acdeck i wear a tsg pass like you, also fox motocross knee and elbow gear. I wear my flatland 3d gloves every time I Esk8 now even if its just for a few miles.

Super smart! I have some POC knee and elbow pads which I think are similar. I've been wearing a bicycle helmet which I know isn't the best but makes video creation easier. Hopefully people don't follow my decision in that realm. However if it's a serious ride I think the TSG should be the helmet 100% of the time. Thinking perhaps a back protector might be smart also. Like the ones for skiing or downhill mtb which are lightweight
@erike72979 ай бұрын
@@COYOTEEXILE I'm not sure I really need shin protection but forearm protection from scrapes.. yes. I just kinda feel like the motocross pads might stay on better at a higher speed crash. (could be wrong about that) I considered some nice TSG type fat skate pads but decided to go with the motocross ones. Love my TSG pass helmet Doing 30 mph in a half lid is definitely a risk unless you're some kind of downhill expert.

i've fallen once in 8 years. but i mean i've been bombing hills and actually skateboarding for most of my life. it's kinda easy mode. one time i met a wire ankle high, going about 25, it was nuts. still didn't fall lol

Howdy Jeff...MTN boards suit your area is the Z1 still working well.? ..Steve Crump
@COYOTEEXILE10 ай бұрын
Yea, the Z1 is still crushing it. Just swapping it to the street tires I got and hopefully getting back out on it soon. Needs new grip tape, the stock tape is pretty bad at this point and I did put some new Acedeck tape on but it just fell off a ride later.

What about range? in my deck 1110wh then i use max speed my ange about 30km 1h30 min!
@COYOTEEXILE10 ай бұрын
I'm typically on flat ground getting 30 miles so perhaps 46km. Staying in sport mode mostly with Brutale occasionally. I've gotten 36 miles and over 2 hours but at an easy pace on bike paths.

Awesome video...Where did you get the bash guard from? Thanks
@COYOTEEXILE8 ай бұрын
That came stock on the velar. I have to say it's one of my favorite parts. Though I haven't seen the bashguards on the new Velars...
@fredericksmith41768 ай бұрын
@@COYOTEEXILE I ordered a Velar and I couldn't see the bash guards as something that I could order separately. I have one on my Hadean and they have taken a beating protecting the motors. Hopefully I can get one down the track from Onsra.
@COYOTEEXILE8 ай бұрын
@fredericksmith4176 you buy the gear drive? That's the version to get, but perhaps they couldn't design a bashguard to go around those motors.
@fredericksmith41768 ай бұрын
@@COYOTEEXILE yeah got the gear drive.

I wiped out hard going 35 maxing out on road. Hurt like a bitch, helmet defo saved me. I just wish there was a board that could cruise at 50mph. I want bike feel on my plank of wood
@COYOTEEXILE10 ай бұрын
Ouch! That sucks! Hopefully you also had some pads. 50 mph would be impossible
@projectmayhem23309 ай бұрын
The BioBoards Plutonium will achieve that

@@COYOTEEXILEdude we have fighter jets that are stealth and capable of going Mach 2… going 50mph on an electric piece of wood.. or carbon.. is by no means impossible.

I crashed on a paved trail.wasnt going crazy or fast...and im a good rider. I dont even know or remember how i crashed because i didnt have my HELMET. idiot...i was out for five minutes,my friend called ambulance.hospital for 3 days. Many doctors and mri scans. Off to stanford doctor's soon. Luckily i have insurance. Ive rode only twice since. Gotta get me fixed Was the meepo flow that did me in...

Ouch! Sorry that happened! Terrible! Hitting the back of one's head seems to pretty dangerous and it doesn't take much. Hopefully the specialists will have answers and get you on the mend soon.

Boards with bottom mounted batteries and ESCs are not mountain boards. The defining factor of a mountainboard is top mounted electronics for max clearance and stress free riding off-road.
@COYOTEEXILE10 ай бұрын
These are boards with off road tires. I agree though still capable of riding fire roads and light single track at least 😎
