Really like the idea of rotating the spell cards for Durations - Loving the game as a whole! Kinda confused why the Range-finder was not consolidated onto one strip though.

I recently picked up the Dwarf King's Quest and the Adventurer's Companion and have come to really dig the game as a good dungeon crawling alternative to Descent 2.0 and considering that Imperial Assault has essentially replaced Descent for our group, Dungeon Saga is likely going to become our go to game for Fantasy dungeon crawling action. I'm a huge fan of miniature campaign based gaming and consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur of the genre and find Dungeon Quest to be a somewhat ambitious addition to it. I actually really like the combat mechanics and the line of sight/front & rear arc rules. The adventurer's companion adds a ton to the game and I really appreciate the ability to create your own heroes, bosses and dungeons, especially since the core game only comes with four heroes. It adds a lot of depth and replayability to the game.

Only one wound to injure the wizard, and,when injured all dice rolls are 1 less. Seems pretty easy for the overlord to de-power the glass cannon early.

I feel like wizard is more interesting to play than other characters, because he has more options to play during the turn. Would be nice if the elf could forfeit her movement to get aiming bonus (ie. extra die) or shoot twice but less accurate (3 die per attack). Dwarf could brace for extra +1 armour making him even better tank or chose to slam target one square away. And Barbarian could make maybe a charge (move minimum 3-4 squares in straight line and attack with extra +1 die, but cannot change facing after he has moved) or something different but more options for rest of the players would be cool. Anyway, the game looks very interesting. I like the extra stuff like furniture and nice bases. And I would love to paint the models.

This is the basic game. What you want is the Adventures Compendium, which is the expansion book that will be out later... It covers all of those kinds of concerns with new abilities and feats, along with campaign play. The basic game is more or less heroquest styled as an introductary level game.

Really cool. Particularly the wizard character seems very interesting to play. I´m curious to see if there are other spells and if the other characters can get different actions/feats/use of equipment etc. to have more flexibility in gameplay too.

The adventurers companion (something like that anyway) will let you create your own characters and even devise your own quests I believe.
