Let's Play: Dark Souls - The Board Game [Part Two]

Welcome to Part Two of our Let's Play of Dark Souls The Board Game as Az is joined by Alex and Jamie from Steamforged Games.
In Part One the guys explained the mechanics of the game such as the combined health and stamina bar and the flow of combat as you progress through the rooms.
They also suffer their first death at the hands of a Crossbow Hollow and face off against the Mini boss of this section - the Belfry Gargoyle! If you've never seen the game played before and would like to learn the rules click here to watch Part One.
In this second part of their adventure the guys get stuck straight into the action. Continuing their characters from last time, they battle it out for shiny loot, eventually making their way to the menacing Main Boss - The Dancer of the Boreal Valley!

I played this game for the first time Saturday night with 3 friends. We died lol. But watching this video I realize we were doing something wrong with the boss. Great tutorial thank you can't wait to try again

Sentinels don't do push on their attacks, also according to the rulebook you choose agro after setting up the room. Admittedly the rulebook is terribly organized, so can't blame the developers for not getting their rules right ;) Edit: I also don't see where it says you can dodge onto a barrel without paying the stamina cost associated with breaking them. I mean it makes sense, but that's not how it's written in the rules.

Which part of the video are you referring to with the Sentinel? They do push but THEN attack. Did they move the person after the attack as well? I don't remember that. But yes, it's funny when even the developers say "oops, I forgot that!" This is a complex game but SO much fun (especially as a DS fan).

Dude it's been a week, I'm not going to watch the video again just to point something out. I'm aware of how the sentinels work, that's why I called them out for doing push on the attack as well. And it's not so much them being "oops I forgot that" but "This is how it works." when the rulebook says the opposite. It's possible it used to be the way they play it for a long time so it's been ingrained, I dunno.
