We're back to delve into some of the mistakes that Rookie Players might make when they get into their games of Infinity.
There are plenty of times where the first turn in a game becomes the most important and we're here to show off some of the most common mistakes made by new players.

This terrain looks better than the starting set one. Which isn't hard (as nice as it is that the base game comes with it, it' can't beat purpose-modelled and painted one). It wouldn't be a huge investment, but some terrain and photo lighting I think would contribute to the sexiness of these batreps and more sales for Corvus Belli!

Hmm.. would the Healer or Brigada get cover by just standing next to the cover? Don't they also need to be 1/3 behind it too?

nah cover needs to be about 1/3(by that i mean 1/3 of the minatures hight) tall to benefit from it but it does not need to cever the 1/3 of the model

when reacting you can also choose to shoot at any point of their order, so he could have just chose to shoot before he got to the actual cover

As far as I can see you need to be concealed by 1/3 to be behind Partial Cover so just standing next to it won't help.

complaining about dice rolls is the most annoying habit in wargaming, especially when you see someone making a series of mistakes and then complain about the odd low roll. confirmation bias yo!

Couldn't agree more. Dice games are about making decisions that give you the best odds. Whether or not you succeed is not actually important, unless you make it so. If you gave yourself the best possible odds, then you made the right move, and no dice result can ever change that.

I've been in one the most advantageous situations where i had to roll a 19 on three dice... i rolled 3 20s so....
