Its same in BC also, all plastic bottles and cans have the extra charges, which you can give back at bottle depots, but you actually give back big bag of bottles to get $10, so its not worth collecting it. But its good to dispose them in bottle bins of the garbage areas, so that they could be recycled properly.

That’s same in Saskatchewan for the milk bottles and some of the cartons or tetra packs you get from Costco or Walmart etc

Hello @Gursahib In Alberta there will be extra carbon tax and bottle deposits on all the plastic you buy including water bottles from costco, alcohol or any other plastic bottles or cans but you will get everything back deducted due to deposit once you return them to bottle depot’s. I hope this helps.

Before 24th of December, banff accommodation is cheap, after that is expensive. Its always more cost-effective to buy yearly pass. There is also a 10 hour free parking in banff near you parked.

Yes u have to pay 25cent extra on every milk gallon and on some of the bottle items not for all items, because people can not throw in the trash just store in the garbage bag and when it's store two three full of bags go at bottle depot and get your money back, I always do and it's money goes to in my kid's piggy bank 🏦t's really fun for kids when the get some money for pizza 🍕party. Don't worry it's not big deal, or in Calgary school and scouts kids run bottle drive for fund raiser they come to your door some time! u can give them as help. Everything have concept behind u will learn slowly here.
