how to map two ontologies? as you have showed it's result can you explain how merged onto has formed

Mapping process is a mandatory step in the merging process, there are many systems that do the job, check the OAEI (Ontology Alignment Evaluation Initiative) you'll find there these systems and how they work.

Thank you for the presentation, can you tell me if there are any plug-ins for ontology mapping in protege?

Efficient alignment cannot be provided via protégé, it is better to use a dedicated tool to carry out ontology matching. Several methods and tools are available for this purpose, I recommend you coma, it is flexible, you can vary alignment parameters to obtain different results, such as the threshold of similarity and it's actively maintained You can check this book: Ontology Alignment: Bridging the Semantic Gap (Semantic Web and Beyond) in order to be able to select the best in your case.

@@naoualsmaili4493 Thank you, I have downloaded the COMOA 3.0, Can you tell me how to run this application? ( Here is what I have tried so far, I go to 'lib' and then the jar file 'coma-gui.jar' but nothing happens after running it)

Hi, Thank you for nice work. I want to merge my ontology A into existing ontology B. As B ontology has more then 170000 terms, my protégé donot load the ontology. Do you know any solution to this problem?

Hi Tabbasum Naz, Indeed, the trouble reside on the heaviness of the ontology which effect its loading process in Protégé, you can deal with that by increasing the available memory for the JVM and the single thread memory; to know more about that check the link: protegewiki.stanford.edu/wiki/Setting_Heap_Size If the problem persist, check the log file to know the exact error !
