We did a cruise in August and I LOVE it. I am dying to get back and see Denali!!!!!!! Husband wants to fish. We will manage both. Great video.

We went in the end of Feburary to the first week in March. It was amazing. Flew up to Bettles lodge and had two fabulous nights of Northern Lights viewing. Planning another winter trip to Bettles in 2025 which is supposed to be the peak of the Northern Lights cycle. The beauty of Alaska outweighs the cold!!!

Went to Alaska last week (early May) saw wildlife (orcas, sea otters, brown bear, humpback whales and eagles) we cruised up the southeastern islands. Highly recommended. May is a good time to go.

NO cruise ships are running in Alaska in March or April. The first ones depart Mid-May. We still have snow on the ground through at least half of April.
