Laughlin is now our go-to place for entertainment. Vegas just got too big and too expensive. Last time I was in Laughlin I stayed at the Golden Nugget and had the best time I have ever had at a casino/resort.

I used to play drums there from 97 thru 2010 multiple times a year. From the Losers lounge at Don McLaughlins to the Edge Water and Avi Casinos. Based out of Vegas.

It's nice to stay there and then head down to Lake Havasu. The London Bridge area is decorated nice for the Christmas holiday. 🎄

What am I missing? My wife and I spent at least a month in Laughlin every winter before covid, after covid the casinos are run down and dirty, the prices are ridicules. Can not think of a reason to ever go back.

The state and city need to invest more. Maybe tax breaks for the resorts that renovate their properties. Also outside companies to move in. Many stores have closed down. Their mall is a ghost town, and the river boat hotel is inhabitable.
