I was a sophomore this year. Everyone who knows me knows my dad didn’t let me do marching my junior year. And now with COVID, competitions and (it’s looking like) football games will get cancelled. To anyone reading this. Never, NEVER take anything for granted. I don’t cry much, but these last 3 ish minutes almost always bring tears to my eyes. It was cold as hell, but in that moment nothing mattered. If you’re thinking about doing marching band, absolutely do it. You will not regret it.
