The game was not at Oxford it was at Jackson Ms and I know because I was there.

I flew into Meridian, MS that day. After landing I listened to the end of the game on my transistor. Funny how you remember things - confirmation it was hot that day.

I was in the 7th grade that season and I remember it like it was yesterday. Remember, if Montana doesn’t finally get put in the Purdue game in the 2nd half, they lose and have no shot at the National Championship because they already lost at Ole Miss the previous week!

That Ole Miss game was played at Memorial Stadium in Jackson, not in Oxford as the video stated.
