If it’s what you want to do, then find a way to do it. Get a job, save up money, etc. An heck, you can make half-decent videos using only native recording and some free editing software

You can export short recordings directly to your phone but you’ll need a cable and a computer to export larger files. Let me know if you need any more help with it

I don’t know what fov you’ve set your quest (or PCVR it looks), but I think turning it around by 10 degrees would help since it looks like KZbin 360 at times😂. But could you tell me how you can change the fov for recording, Quest or PC?

I can’t control that. The little joke at the very beginning of the video shows how I increased the fov. This is done via the vr-view feature on the steamvr control panel. This is a PC thing

Well, technically I can tone down the FOV, if I do than the FOV gets tanked. My very first video was recorded without the FOV boost, the other two onward videos besides that were recorded on native quest. You can see the difference in those. I will not be changing my current settings

The only way I know of is to install meta quest developer hub on a computer. That can boost native quest recording fov, but you need to play with a cable hooked up to the pc with developer hub installed

Onward isn’t very well optimized on standalone. The frame rate still stutters on Quest 3 when multiple people are in a room when explosives go off
