@Kimisu I wasn't bothered bc of her gender. I was bothered by listening to her input bc she was a time waster in this particular conversation. Maybe she is great in others..but in this one, you have two reputables that were heavily active having a great dialogue back and forth and she didn't add anything to the conversation. Just slowed it down. Her parts felt forced and like they were coming from an outsider.

After listening to this discussion, you begin to realize that the creation of gangs and all the violence that came with it really was a multidimensional issue from its inception, with so many different factors contributing to the problem. Some self inflicted, other factors beyond their control. With intergenerational trauma from slavery playing a huge part on the pyschies of young black males. Gangs gave them a false sense of self actualization and determination, and community governance in a fractured society. But instead of coming together as a people who share the same historical traumas, they turned on each other. And I can go on with the pyscho babble, but I'm sure ya'll know where I'm getting at here. It's unfortunate and it needs to stop ✋

He chose to become a Gangmemeber after being robbed which is a normal response to seek protection after being victimized. Our family lived right on the corner of 65th Place and Western Ave. We use to eat at Vivian's all the time. Their specialty for me was their Fish Burger. Way better than the one from McDonald's. That sandwich was SO FIRE!! And I remember that market that Skip Townsend mentioned on Normandie & 67th. I use to love going to that bakery right across the street from there. I know those places cause I use to walk to Raymond Avenue Elementary School every morning and afternoon. The good ole days.

@Anthony-jd8pg
@Anthony-jd8pg 2 жыл бұрын
They're not glorifying or condoning it at all bro, there just saying how things WERE. All you have to do is listen. Speaking on your past & saying how foolish and sad it was back then when you were young, which they're doing, is not glorifying it. Danny Trejo has documentaries done about his life & he wrote a book about his life in and out of prison and being addicted to drugs (he was on a Super Bowl commercial last Sunday btw) but if you listen, he isn't glorifying anything, he's telling his story, not just yapping, claiming to be an activist while disrespecting any and every black man he can either dead or alive.

I've never joined a gang, but I can see there are too many cons in being a part of one. One fact is that you'll either end up in jail or die early. You don't get a paycheck or any benefits. Every old gang member has the same story. So why would one from another state want to be a part of this lifestyle? Our black gang's number one enemy is other blacks! I could not be a part of this.

Now that these dudes are older, whether they are willing to admit it or not, they are embarrassed of Fee. It's one thing to bang on ops who will bang on you if they catch you slippin', but to kill not only civilians, but a grandma, a young woman, and two young boys? That ain't gangsta, bruh. That's lacking a soul. That's doing waaaaaaaaaaaay too fucking much! Then again, Fee's attorney testified UNDER OATH, that someone in Fee's family told him Fee had murdered twelve people. Now, how did the family member know that? I don't know the answer to that shit.
