we should be thankful that they're praying for us. trees were here first and we wouldn't be here if it weren't for trees. love the earth, love mother nature, recycle, spend less and live more.

@csw300 No, it's Japanese. It;s an all girl band singing and playing the music. They're named Ooioo and the name of their song is Uma.

What a pleasant surprise to see OOIOO on the KZbin front page. They need to tour.

Cooooooooooooool. As much as I like the nature symbolism/message in this (at least, that's what I'm getting from it) I can't help but dwell on how much work must have gone into making this--stop motion takes a long time. I'll have to show this to my dad; I think he'll appreciate both aspects.

It took me awhile to understand the point of this video, and now I kinda have an idea why it's featured. Very excellent work.

Man, I am still LIVID that I missed OOIOO when they were in Seattle last March. Hopefully they'll come back (I hope to God, at least). And at least I saw Boredoms a couple of weeks ago, but DAMMIT, how could I miss them? Fantastic music video. It's refershing to see that music videos can still be an effective medium. Of course, it also helps that I'm a huge OOIOO fan.

Awesome! I thought these gals were really obscure, I can't believe they have a video featured on KZbin! It's amazing and its implications are clear: Time is running out for the life of this planet if we don't hear its voice and change things!

This video from what I gathered, is about the connection by man and the things on this earth, it oculd be any language, or words, or music, its about connection and taking care of what you could lose. Time.
I had forgotten this. Not sure why KZbin suggested this to me today after more than 10 years.

@Thoukudides Don't think of it as a cheap copy, you could consider it to be an hommage. (Both songs have qualities of their own, I like the OOIOO version because it so energetic and the Roberto de Simone version has a wonderfull mesmerizing drone.)

Nice pixilation, such a relief from the over-the-top Pixal 3-d animation these days. I've always preferred stop frame animation, like this, claymation(thanks Will V!), and painted single-frame traditional animation(Disney, Hanna-Barbera, Warner Bros: you go for it girlfriends!).

I'm not sure what the song in general mean but the video to me mean kind of like global worming. Like in the beginning the trees fall down, and when the deers in the hour glass- the sand represents nature and there not much left in which the deer can call home. the deer represents mother nature. And the part with the human and the deer says that we need to keep the nature alive. at lest thats what it means to me. hope that helps!^^

i just think this video has a lot of similarities to Gondry's sort of analog, handmade, stop-motion type of filmaking. the characters and animals are being used in conjunction with found toy objects and strange lighting conditions. no problem at all, i love Gondry and this video as well, just noting that Gondry seems an obvious influence.
