Vegeta’s pride/ attitude, Goku’s stupidity, Bulma’s bratty attitude (though not by much), and yeah… Yamcha being weak. No, TFS is largely to blame. Before that stupid shit existed, Dragon Ball fans were not nearly as toxic. Back in the '90s and early '00, you could be a Yamcha fan and not get any disrespect. Before TFS, Yamcha's death was taken very seriously in both the show and its fandom, and he was regarded as having made a noble sacrifice in place of Krillin. So, yes, TFS is the biggest reason why Yamcha gets no respect and no justice anymore. To a lesser extent, Akira's lazy writing is to blame too, but really, only after the Frieza saga. That's when DBZ went down hill.

Was the internet truly the information superhighway or as accessible during the 90's and 2000 as it is now? The answer is quite obvious to both of us. I mean, context does matter here. Internet trolls were definitely not as prevalent in the 90's and 2000's. The Internet wasn't even as accessible as it is right now. Heck, I can even argue that Dragonball wasn't as mainstream in western countries as it is right now. So to say this was mostly the fault of a single KZbin channel doing (who had the first dbza episode in 2012 or 2013 If I'm not mistaken) is, in my opinion, just not looking at the bigger picture. Plus you're blaming that channel for the part of the fandom's toxic nature (most toxic probably being power scaling which I don't see how that could be blamed on TFS) Though to say that team four star didn't influence the fans at all would be extremely ignorant on my part. They have a perfect rivalry: Yamcha trains in the OLD way, focusing on technique, survival out in the woods, always on the base of his martial arts style. Vegeta focuses solely on his Saiyin ability to improve after a fight and raw power, looking for straight strength, speed and energy blasts. They're perfect opposites and it would be great to see. I, for one, would LOVE to see Vegeta get beaten by Yamcha. He already got one-shotted by Goku Black. So why not this?

Some of the paragraph structure makes it a little hard to tell who’s speaking at times, and some characters talking with a lot of swears and slang terminology is a little distracting and feels out of character, but everything else more than makes up for it. I love that every character has their own strengths and weaknesses, I love the tweaks you made to the power system, I especially love that armor matters now, ‘cause it really bothered me that they’d go to all the trouble of making and wearing battle suits that do nothing. Poor Yamucha. He was quickly outclassed by Goku by their second fight, was demoted to being the martial artist encyclopedia, and when that ran its course by the 2nd Tenkaichi Budokai, he just became fodder for the villains until that, too, was too good for him. Didn't even get a girl unlike Kuririn. Couldn't even become a jobber like Tenshinhan nor a super baseball player. I'm honestly surprised he appeared in Super at all and didn't become like Lunch.

chiaotzu was a lesser character but I liked him talking crap to krillin Z was doomed from the start because of Powerlevels. It does piss me off that yamcha didn't get into the tournament of power, I mean frieza makes sense for the final free slot I guess but yamcha surpassed Roshi years ago, so it makes no sense that yamcha wouldn't be able to get in. Also, every one of them knows the evil containment wave, so why was roshi the only one to use it?
