This song hits really hard in the feels, in today's society people find jobs or do things so that they can fit in and survive in the modern era, we lose sight of the beauty of the world around us and start to depreciate the things we do, and In turn we become hesitant of what we should pick or do because of our mindset that we should do things out of "necessity" and not out of "passion". My interpretation of this is: Stop looking for a meaning or a motivation to do something with all your heart and begin to "love worthless things" you do. Instead of 'Finding' your Passion, --just 'Create' it. You don't need to stay in the box, coz even just a simple walk in the forest can be your passion, don't try to compare yourself with what others do, just do what you like and appreciate the little worthless things you do because you don't need to find the 'right' answer to go forward you just need 'you' Edit: tysm everyone for spending time to read this💖

If you were to say prettier than this, it would make sense, saying more prettier sounds goofy and doesnt get your point across they way you want to, to be honest, it would have been beeter to just say "as pretty" or use capital letters for the important words. You had to use a 2nd comment to be understood, that is, by definition, bad communication.

Let me throw my hat into the ring, One detail that I think is important, is how the characters in the mv are all doing some form of entertainment as a job. We have a dancer, a painter, either someone recording for an ad or more likely someone similar to a beauty guru on KZbin holding a product she likes which would make her a youtuber, someone at a party which could be her just having fun or it could be her working as something similar to a hostess (or it could be her in a karaoke place since we only see one other person there,). The fact is, these are jobs that while they look like pure fun, take time, practice, and skill to properly do. KZbinrs always say how taxing it is to make videos, but at the same time they enjoy making them, they are take time to get going (Eve is a great example, went from doing covers to this full blown masterpiece). Similarly artists like painters and dancers have an enormous amount of skill to do what they do. And while most people wouldn't think it, for someone like me, I could never imagine having enough confidence or social skills to match a hostess. How this connects to the overall story/message, is beautifully shown by the first part, where it's mostly grey scale. There are hints of color, and in each instance it could be related to their jobs. The painter has color paint, the dancer has different colored lights pointed at her (kind of like how they would on stage), the disco ball is reflecting back color back onto the hostess, as well as her colored makeup. Finally the color starts flowing through out the world as they get ready for their jobs, the paint, the lights, the fireworks, and then the color fills the world as we see them doing their jobs. The transition from grey to color is also matched by how their emotions progress. From pretty serious blank, in the dancer's and painter's cases concentration, to smiling and enjoying what their doing, which again, is how many of these jobs could be described, ejoyable while your doing them, but less so when you have to prepare for them. Finally, if you look up the name of the song on google, Yoku mean skillfully, which in this context would be describing how each of these characters skillfully do their jobs. So what is this song all about? It's about those people who find genuine joy in what they do. Not only by just doing for fun, but by taking them seriously, and giving those on the other end an amazing experience. An amazing experience like what Eve gave us with this song.

In this mv, I think the colored part is the part where greed and emotions appear. And although the characters appearing in the mv have their own feelings, they are spending time without being able to express their feelings. I think that the manifestation is where the characters had no color at the beginning. Everyone will be colored from 2:00, but I think that the appearance from there is what they originally wanted. In the paint scene at 0:21, I like painting and want to draw my own wonderful painting. La verdad que belleza, todo en el video es hermoso y la canción te hace sentir seguro de alguna manera, hay una parte donde dice que hay que amar cosas Inutiles sin buscarle significado y la verdad esque es cierto, a veces buscamos el significado de ciertas cosas pero creo que hay algo hermoso en lo desconocido y no siempre vamos a encontrarle respuestas a algunas cosas y eso está bien. De verdad me impresiona Eve desde que lo sigo, en estos 3 años ha evolucionado mucho y últimamente nos está trayendo bastante contenido, sin duda de los mejores artistas actualmente. Gracias Eve por traer algo tan hermoso

My ears & eyes have been blessed. The song is so chill & comforting with a touch of an emotion only Eve can evoke. The animation is some of the best I've seen, so stunning & so fluid. I love the meaning behind it all & that we can love things, or individuals, & see the beauty in them without needing a particular reason. We don't need to know the answers to everything & we don't need to be perfect. We can just rest assured that we are each beautiful in our own way & that love doesn't have to make sense or have limitations. I also think each character represents a different type of artist, each finding beauty & love in everyday life, but that's just how I'm interpreting it. The obvious ones are the dancer & the painter. But I think the light-pink haired girl may be some kind of digital artist (we see her on the computer), like an animator, since she could be studying fish as reference. Or she studies marine life, & science is portrayed as an art. The blue-haired guy seems like a designer of some sort, maybe in fashion since we see him holding a case of blue makeup in front of the camera. The cream-haired girl may be a model since she's posing in a lot of aesthetic locations (they all are, but still). The olive & white-haired girl could be an actor or even an average person (this one's a stretch, but we see her in a relationship, which could be on-screen, or just her private life, portraying love itself as art.) The blood orange & dark green-haired girl could be a makeup artist because of the colored pigments on her face in the final scene & the makeup supplies shown in the beginning.

insightful! But I think 'Yoku' is actually referring to 欲 (desire) from the lyrics: 欲のままに擬態して = Mimic your desire as it is (basically, do what you want without changing)

Wow... It's just.. The way everything moves is so fluid and mesmerizing... It's kind of like watching someone paint, where every stroke of the brush just sucks you in... The lyrics were somehow both slow and intense, maybe kind of like a drum beat that slowly increases... And every beat just reverberates through your whole body... At the end though I was just like "wait.... it's over already?" I was so sucked into it that it just flew by lol

I think that this song, and especially the MV, represent how you become the best (and most colourful!) version of yourself when you fully embrace who you are and the things that you like. Most of the time we spend working or doing things that we think we should be doing, feeling guilty for wanting to do things that we genuinely desire, but I think the MV represents that very dichotomy with the greyscale and colours. The message being that yes, you are allowed to enjoy things, and you should express yourself fully through them! Very cool :P and very pretty!

@@Fillysteps i mean everyone has their own reaction of a song. And many Eve's songs have resonated within myself so it's just so easy to relate to his songs, even the new ones. Like from the music video itself (without understanding the lyrics at first) i could tell that Yoku would be my fight song even if it would take me a good week, but i'm sure it would be. And it also happened that Eve provided the English subtitle, which made me even more relate to the song as a whole. We just have a different way of reacting to the song, that is. So you claiming i'm faking it is baseless, but i respect your reasoning. It all just comes down to how you interpret it.

I don't know about other fans but your songs inspire me and make me feel all the bitterness and sweetness in each of them, I even cried once due to their beautifulness. I just wanted to say this MV really resonating beauty and elegance. Eve's whispering tone of voice, the chill beats of music, Yoneyama Mai's flawless animation and art, I bet LAM helped with the color choices for the character designs and suggestions specially the amazing colors for the Make Up, and the 3d animations place in this video just goes seemingly to the art that you wouldn't really complain about it... Im just too lucky, to see Eve collab with Yoneyama Mai again. Their skills do really show another level of MV on how it should be. Eve's main stories are drawn by Mah and Waboku, side branches stories are from Yoneyama Mai and other illustrators, making Eve's story full of colors and meanings. Full respect!
